Apparently a 2 min conversation with a physician on the call without going in-depth about the issues - demands Rs.800 Call was as generic as possible, having no understanding of my lifestyle, why I was facing this issue. Taking the first change, and prescribing like 3 medicines just based on that. When did healthcare come down to this.

So yes - butterflies before a presentation, or a gut drop when anxious? That’s not metaphor. That’s physiology. A conversation that started in 1822, through a bullet hole, & still continues in every one of us today!

Fast forward 150 years > Scientists discover the entire nervous system - 100 millions neurons in your gut. Then the vague nerve, the superhighway connecting brain and gut. And finally, the microbiome, which makes serotonin, dopamine, GABA. Beaumont’s gut-brain intuition was right all along.

The Gunshot That Changed Science - How we discovered the Gut-Brain Connection. In 1822, a young fur trader names Alexis St. Martin was shot in the stomach. He survived - but the wound left a permanent hole straight into his stomach. Enter Dr. William Beaumont, a curious army surgeon. What he saw through the hole changes human biology forever 👇

Ho hard is it to go forward even on days at stretch you hardly seem to make progress. I guess the true strength lies in getting up, trying again knowing you are most likely gonna struggle.

Every journey has its messy days! I had plenty in the last 3.5 years. Here are some mistakes and how terrible they were, but each one made me learn something, try something new to continue!

In the last 3.5 years of workouts that has helped me loose over 57 KGS - has been weekly HIIT sessions. HIIT pushes body into EPOC, basically burning calories throughout the day. And if you do HIIT with bodyweight resistance it helps in muscle building. Love HIIT sessions! And want to make it fun for y’all. Anyone who would wanna join in? Fun and challenging workouts!

Your body isn’t lazy. It’s working against a different set of rules. PCOS isn’t just about missed periods or weight gain — it affects your gut, mood, metabolism, energy, skin, and even how you feel about yourself. You’re not imagining the fatigue. You’re not weak for struggling with motivation. You’re not broken for feeling like your efforts don’t “work like they should.” ✨ The PCOS body is different — and it deserves a different kind of care. One built on healing, not punishing.

I love to teach poker, but true help isn't all positive. Poker is awesome, but it is hard. • >90% of players lose • A career in poker is treacherous & unreliable • Everyone has a ceiling based on aptitude & temperament Many of you will fail. Why am I telling you this? ⬇️ ♣️ (My) Poker Content ♣️ Vlogs, news, hand reviews, gossip – Most of the successful poker content out there is primarily entertainment. I’m a teacher at heart - likely would have been one whether or not I found poker. So, much of the content I create is educational. The problem with educational content, especially short-form educational content, is that it leads people to believe they can succeed with it. It kind of has to. I can’t say, “Try this, and it may or may not work!” every time I tweet. ♦️ Improving ♦️ The insights that I put together to share here and on other platforms are intended to make you better at poker. But will they make you better enough that you’ll go from a losing player to a winner? To a Pro? In many cases, no. So every now and again, I like to remind my followers that it takes more than watching my YouTube shorts to improve your game. ♠️ What it Takes ♠️ People don’t become poker pros by reading tips, just like people don’t become chefs by reading recipes. It takes countless hours of hard work and experience to become a long-term winner at reasonable stakes. Now, that doesn’t mean you need to wait years to win. You could learn to beat soft, small-stakes games relatively quickly. And from there, you could accumulate the knowledge & experience to beat tougher games. But poker pros don’t simply play and read tips. They: • Hire coaches • Review hands on their own and in groups • Watch advanced training videos • Study solvers and solver-based tools • Invest in improving their mindset • and more ❤️ Today’s Games are Tough ❤️ Back in 2005, we didn’t have to study very hard away from the tables to win. In 2023, high-stakes pros spend significant amounts of time studying. Depending on the stakes and the quality of the games you play, perhaps you don’t have to spend hours per week studying, but it’s certainly not the way it used to be. There are also other factors that'll contribute to your potential success. ♣️ Mindset ♣️ Are you easily frustrated? Do you tend to give up when things get tough? Poker won’t go well for you until you conquer these emotional challenges. Might you learn how to do so through poker? Absolutely, but it may be expensive in the meantime. Some of us are more volatile than others. Some are more intrinsically motivated. You can work to improve all of this, but not everyone is going to find the same levels of success with the same amount of work. Some won’t find success at all. ♦️ Aptitude ♦️ Can anyone learn poker? Yes. Just like anyone can learn to write. But not everyone is going to be a professional writer. You can absolutely improve leaps and bounds from where you are today, but, like in any field, some of us will have an easier time than others reaching the next level. 15 years ago, I’d have said that most people would be capable of earning at least a modest living playing poker with the right guidance. Today, with all of the advancements in the game, I no longer believe that. ♠️ So What’s my Point? ♠️ I’m not telling you that you shouldn’t try. I’m not saying that you should expect to fail. If you’ve got some intelligence and enough drive to do the work, you have a good chance! I’m telling you all this because you shouldn’t simply expect to win. You shouldn’t quit your job and “go pro” before you’ve proven yourself a winner over a large sample of hands. You shouldn’t head to the casino with a bunch of money after arming yourself with three of my Twitter threads and expect to beat the game. You shouldn’t assume that you’re a winner after two good weeks in a row. ❤️ Poker is Awesome ❤️ I absolutely love poker. Even to this day, I find playing the game more fascinating than anything else I have even dabbled in. I want to help players discover the game and become the best versions of themselves at and away from the table. Whether you have a desire to play the game professionally, or you just want to get a little bit better while playing for fun, I want to make that more possible for you. What I don’t want is to instill a false confidence in you, leading you to overextend yourself financially, emotionally, or with your time. The game is beautiful, but it’s tough. Set your expectations accordingly, and good luck out there.
