I’m terribly concerned about the safety of President @realDonaldTrump. The Secret Service is a dysfunctional organization. He’s been nearly killed twice while under their alleged protection.

Chicago… this just happened on our North Side, at Swedish Hospital. Two police officers shot… at a hospital. A place where people go for help, turned into a crime scene. And recently, a 23-year-old man was stabbed in the neck while walking near Grant Park in downtown Chicago. This is NOT normal. This is what happens when leadership fails, but tries to gaslight you with fake crime stats. People can’t even walk safely. Hospitals aren’t even safe. Chicago, we have a serious problem. As your future mayor, I will restore order, back our police, be tough on crime, and make Chicago safe again, just as I’ve always advocated for the safety of Chicago citizens. One CPD officer was murdered in cold blood today and another is fighting for his life, all because of the catastrophic Illinois SAFE-T Act pushed by Governor Pritzker. When he offers his condolences, don't be fooled. These brave officers' blood, like so many before them, is on his hands.

I can’t believe how lax the security was at the White House correspondents dinner tonight. Upon entering nobody asked to visibly INSPECT my ticket nor asked for my photo identification. All one had to do was flash what appeared to be a ticket and they were fine with that. When you consider you are entering a roomful of fake news media —90% of whom hate the President you would think they would have better security. This is what happened when what sounded like gunfire erupted. On the way out, I called-out a bunch of the disgusting Media who have been pushing hatred toward President Trump for years. They are a big part of the discord in this country.

The shooter at the White House Correspondent's Dinner has been identified as 31-y-old Cole Allen from Torrance, California. He works as a teacher and was recently given the award of “Teacher of Month in Los Angeles County”

Scared for Trump. How did someone get a gun inside the building where President Trump was? Somebody needs to answer this right now. President Trump has had attempt after attempt on his life, and we are supposed to just accept that someone was able to get that close with a gun? Absolutely not. Secret Service needs to explain it. The FBI needs to explain it. Whoever was in charge of security needs to explain it. Because there is no good answer. This should have never happened. We need to protect President Trump at all costs. And to every person who keeps calling him a “king,” a “dictator,” a “threat to democracy,” and acting like he’s going to put Americans in concentration camps — this is what reckless rhetoric does. You put a target on this man’s back. I’m pissed off, and every American should be demanding answers. Someone should be held accountable for this White House Correspondents’ Dinner Shooting.
