We are calling for tighter restrictions on fireworks following the death of Roxie, our endangered red panda kit, on bonfire night. Our expert vet team believe it's likely that three-month-old Roxie died due to stress caused by fireworks in the local area.

We are sad to share the loss of Snowflake, our leucistic penguin. At 28 years old, he was our oldest gentoo and a standout character in the colony. He was put to sleep this morning after ongoing age-related health issues. He was a much loved favourite and he will be missed 💛

Just a reminder that you are doing your best, and that’s more than enough. It’s okay to take it one day at a time.
