PlayStation support has confirmed that a new digital rights management policy for the console is intentional, not a glitch.
Starting with any digital games purchased after the March 2026 system update, your PS5 will require an internet connection at least once every 30 days to validate the license.
If the console stays offline longer than that, the games simply will not launch until you reconnect.
This change does not affect any titles already in your library. Setting a console as your primary system also will not bypass the monthly check-in.
@tomkat818@brave I have all basic knowledge of cyberpunk security. And also who the fu*k are you telling me what is right or wrong. These companies are better then you not your knowledge. Now SHUT UP!!
@alabhya2007@brave Clearly shows you have absolutely no cybersecurity knowledge, not even the basics everyone knows. Never trust google or microsoft with your data.
Valve / Steam Founder Gabe Newell on piracy
"THE EASIEST WAY TO END PIRACY ISN'T BY USING ANTI-PIRACY TECHNOLOGY. IT'S BY GIVING PEOPLE A SERVICE THAT'S BETTER THAN WHAT THEY'RE GETTING FROM THE PIRATES"
@alabhya2007@UniverseIce It's a good plan. If they sell more of their own smartphones they make money, if their competitors sell more, they still make money through the parts. Win win
BREAKING! The front camera cutout on the Fold7 measures 3.7mm, while the Fold8’s is only 2.5mm in diameter. Samsung appears to have adopted a new technology that significantly reduces the size of the front camera hole.
1. Galaxy Z Fold7 2. Galaxy Z Fold8
@Pirat_Nation Also I will never buy any Apple product. Because it so expensive and waste of money, over glazing, show off, and less customization compared to android especially (Samsung) and Windows. I am not stupid, and i will always use Android and Windows.
Windows 11 users should be aware that the security update KB5083769 has been linked to significant problems on some PCs.
Reports include:
>boot loops
>Blue Screen of Death crashes
>distorted mosaic-like graphics.
Certain HP and Dell laptops and desktops, particularly with NVIDIA GTX 1080 Ti GPUs, appear most affected.
Users are frequently stuck in Windows Automatic Repair.
Microsoft has not yet added this to their known issues list.
Suggested recovery options are System Restore, Startup Repair, or using “Reset this PC” if needed.
@NUFC_elite@UniverseIce Yes you right, and i already know that too. From new and advanced camera sensors to display's, they sell to rivals to gain profit without using on their own S series phone. This very bad. What you think.
@alabhya2007@UniverseIce They won't create the display and give it to a competitor without even using it. They'll deffo use it this year. Oppo just used it and claimed they did it first
@alabhya2007@Pirat_Nation with copying u learn after that u innovate its like in arab and persian golden age europe copied their ways and then added their sauce and other nations on the past its okay to copy as long as u innovate afterwards
A former Samsung researcher has been sentenced to 7 years in prison in South Korea, he was convicted of leaking key DRAM semiconductor technology to a Chinese company.
The 56-year-old man used to work at Samsung Electronics, after he left the company, he joined ChangXin Memory Technologies, or CXMT, in China.
This case involves 10 people who were charged, officials believe the leaked details helped China move faster on its own memory chips, including those used for artificial intelligence.
Reports say the researcher and another ex-Samsung employee received millions of dollars for the information.
South Korea treats its semiconductor know-how as vital to the nation’s economy.
