Today I want to tweet about something serious: colorectal cancer. March is colorectal cancer awareness month, but that’s not why I’m tweeting today. After procrastinating 10 years, I finally got my first colonoscopy this January, at age 60. Turns out I should have done it sooner.

Had to say goodbye to my 16-year-old vizsla Victoria today. I got her as a rescue in 2009. She was found as a stray with shotgun pellets in her side. She lived a long life and got lots of hikes and love. 🙂

I cherish that last week I had with him. Except of course when he beat my ass so badly in card games :D
I could bring him some comfort and sometimes he would just sleep holding my hand.
I visited him with his mom as well.
We laughed, we cried, we were together.

My stepdad is at peace now. He died this afternoon with people around, his wife, two daughters, sister and nephew.
I feel sad but okay. It was a good ending where he saw a bunch of people in the hospice until he started deteriorated fast from Friday night.

I lost my wife and friend suddenly a few days ago. @saranutter passed away early on Sunday April 11 from what appears to have been a heart attack. She was 42. We are devastated by this loss. I will post about funeral and rememberance arrangements soon.

My mother is admitted to hospital (Escorts, New Delhi) for COVID.
We are urgently looking for Plasma donors (pref blood group A & AB, but others is okay too) from the ones who have recovered from COVID in the last 3-4 months.
