I share your admiration for the charitable and service oriented element in Sikh culture.Though one can appreciate this without putting down followers of any other faith. In any case, my post is not about Sikhs in India, but about a sliver of activist Sikhs in the West who have (weirdly) adopted the Palestinian cause as their own.

A section of diaspora Sikhs (not all) have allied with hardline Islamists and rallied to the Palestinian cause. For those with even a smidgin of historical memory this can sometimes become a little awkward.
