One year ago today, Yaron Lischinsky and Sarah Milgrim were murdered outside the Capital Jewish Museum in Washington in a horrific, targeted antisemitic attack.
We remember them.

Tonight marks the beginning of the holiday of Shavuot—a holiday of community and remembrance. We stand as one people, and recall the day we received the Torah and all of its blessings. One year ago today, our community at the Embassy of Israel lost two of our beloved members—Sarah Milgrim and Yaron Lischinsky—in a heinous terror attack. A year later, we remember the light they brought into our lives and we mourn the hole in our hearts that they left behind.

Last night, members of the Republican Jewish Coalition and Nevada’s Jewish community came together in strong support of Governor Joe Lombardo, @JoeLombardoNV.
The reason is clear: Governor Lombardo has taken real action to stand against antisemitism, support Holocaust remembrance, protect Jewish institutions, and stand firmly with Israel.
From signing legislation recognizing International Holocaust Remembrance Day, to supporting the IHRA definition of antisemitism, to strengthening public safety protections for religious communities, Governor Lombardo has shown leadership when it matters most.
Nevada’s Jewish community knows they have a governor who stands with them.

Kentucky Republicans sent an unmistakable message: there is no place in the Republican Party for those who turn their back on the MAGA agenda. For years, the Republican Jewish Coalition has opposed Thomas Massie, and for good reason. Massie has been a thorn in the side of President Trump, the Republican Party, and the Jewish community writ large, siding time and again with the far-left Squad on top issues of concern. In addition to opposing the Working Families Tax Cuts, opposing border security funding, and opposing Holocaust education funding, Massie has stood alone among House Republicans in opposing aid to our ally Israel, voting against bipartisan resolutions condemning antisemitism, and, in the aftermath of the October 7, 2023 Hamas terrorist attack — the worst massacre of Jews since the Holocaust — Massie voted against emergency assistance for Israel as it fought a war for its very survival. The last few hours at my Hospital has led to this: if I am going to continue fighting for my life, it is going to cost money.
After receiving numerous messages asking me how they can donate to support me, there is a new GoFundMe to help me reclaim my life in an attempt to be pain-free. The other option is to end treatment and invoke in-home hospice.
Whatever amount you are comfortable giving, it will go a long way to helping me get the specialized and daily treatment I need.

Update: the colorectal surgeon has come back with an option of reinserting the GJ tube. It would keep my stomach decompressed to avoid bowel obstructions. I am contemplating this or hospice. Having the GJ this year led to 2.5 months of pain and suffering. I fought so hard to get it removed. How will I do with the minute-by-minute pain from it? What is if I never gain weight and I’m stuck with it for the rest of my life? Tonight is the hardest night of my life. Too many changes in one day. This is my last post for tonight. I need to think what is worth it.
