@VincentDJohnson Their mistake is during the second game of the session, they don’t allow people to sit in the vacated seats of fans from the first game. Ridiculous policy when all tickets are general admission.

Not critique of the IHSA. I understand with back to back games, you need seating open for game 2. But it feels like a big miss that on TV, people are going to see wide swaths of empty seats in the lower bowl, while the balcony on both sides is pretty full.

They did not play fast. They worked the ball into Toppin most of the game. Their guards did not dribble drive the ball much at all. They were also horrible shooting the ball so we didn’t have to close out hard on them. Know the game!!!

Illini gave up 23 point lead to UCLA. Likely cost them a B1G title and 1 seed. That is an absolute crusher. I have no idea what they were doing on the last defensive possession. All 5 guys looked passive and lost.

@NUICFootball Massac County in Metropolis is the southern most IHSA football program. Just across the Ohio River from Paducah, Kentucky.

Does Cairo have football? The most southern teams in the 1A playoffs was Sesser-Valier.
Galena to Sesser is a 6 hour drive, so 12 hours RT.
That's only 4 hours difference for the travel they have to do for basketball regionals in the same week. Football is one trip.

Man that is an enormous move from Notre Dame. Henry is a rising star and getting him to take a functional demotion is a sign of how much cache the Irish have right now.
