Ho appena ricevuto la notizia di essere stato sospeso per cinque giorni dalla Camera dei Deputati. Insieme a me altri parlamentari di opposizione. La nostra colpa è di aver impedito che alla Camera si svolgesse la conferenza stampa di neofascisti e neonazisti. In tutta onestà devo dirvi che non mi sento in colpa. E che lo rifarei. Anzi, dovesse ricapitare, lo rifarò. E penso sia il modo migliore per servire le istituzioni, nate dalla lotta antifascista.

Promising news from Egypt, where blogger Mohamed Oxygen, who was prosecuted and sentenced alongside lawyer Mohamed el-Baqer and activist Alaa Abdel Fattah has FINALLY been ordered released (with his place of residence as a guarantee)! May he be physically released and home soon.

We are relieved to have brought 147 people to safety in #Livorno after three & half days at sea. Yet at least 606 people have already died in the Mediterranean in 2026, the deadliest start of a year since #IOM began recording data in 2014, with many people still unaccounted for.

Our new report in collaboration with Forensic Architecture (@ForensicArchi) is now live. In the early hours of March 23, 2025, the Israeli Army conducted a series of attacks on clearly marked emergency vehicles and personnel in Tel al-Sultan, Gaza. Fifteen aid workers from the Palestinian Red Crescent (PRCS), Civil Defence, and United Nations were killed and buried alongside their emergency vehicles. For almost a year, Earshot conducted an in-depth audio investigation of three recordings taken that night. We analysed each of the 910 gunshots fired by Israeli soldiers. Through audio ballistics, echolocation, and enhancement, we reconstructed an auditory picture of what happened that dark night — from the initial attack on the ambulances to the final close-range executions. Our audio evidence corroborates survivors' testimony. In collaboration with @ForensicArchi and @PalestineRCS , we confirmed that innocent, unarmed aid workers were intentionally murdered.
