Tav situation is mental. Handled so badly on all fronts, and probably avoidable with better communication by the sounds of it. I don't see how this doesn't compromise Röhl in the eyes of the players, staff, and support. I wonder how the new CEO and board view things? I do wonder how can a manager galvanise a dressing room after something like this - nothing happens without trust between players and manager. Another shitshow on top of a shitshow.

Forget the debate about whether that was a handball or not last night - the issue is the "clear and obvious" guidance. IFAB guidance is: "If an incident needs multiple replays, frame-by-frame analysis, or lengthy forensic examination, it may not meet the “clear and obvious” threshold. The referee’s original call should generally stand unless the video evidence is compelling." That's the charge Andrew Dallas needs to answer. Then he should be sacked.

It’s a real shame that James Tavernier’s final home game is going to be a dead rubber with a low turnout. He deserves a proper send off. He’s been an unbelievable servant and player. It will be an emotional night saying goodbye to the skipper and it’ll be a strange feeling seeing him at another club next season. I hope the fans stay afterwards and show him the respect he deserves.
