Polymarket is doing $339K in fees per day right now (DefiLlama) $86M annualized. $432M TVL. All sitting on Polygon. And there is still no $POLY token. Here is why that needs to change fast. Polymarket's fee structure is broken for holders. Most of the gross fees go right back out as maker rebates and liquidity rewards. The protocol keeps a fraction. A $POLY token with staking would let that value actually stay in the ecosystem instead of bleeding out every day. The other thing nobody is talking about: Polymarket should launch its own chain. Right now they are fully dependent on Polygon for everything. Building a native appchain means you control the infrastructure, you can use $POLY as the gas token and settlement latency drops which matters a lot for live event markets. dYdX did exactly this. It made sense for them and it makes sense here too. Now about the 1 minute BTC chart idea floating around. The idea that $POLY should track BTC on 1 minute candles sounds exciting but it is actually a terrible product decision. 1 minute charts are pure noise. Most people trading that timeframe lose money. The ones who win mostly get lucky. It would turn $POLY into a degen casino token instead of something with real long term value. Polymarket has too much going for it to make that mistake. What $POLY should actually look like: staking rewards from protocol revenue, gas token on a native chain, governance over market categories and dispute resolution, fee discounts for active traders. CMO already confirmed the token is coming. With ICE backing and a $9B valuation the only thing missing is the decision to actually ship it. #Polymarket $POLY #PredictionMarkets

Earlier today, Ansem just said "send it" in a response about memecoin culture, indicating he is BULLISH to culture coins. Over 2 years ago, ansem made a ironic post about the trenches talking about "friend token" which never existed. This idea has never ran and he described it as a culture coin with that brainrot image.
