Today @aldefkenya and Wajir women for peace convened GTWG meeting at Wajir county gender office. The main objective of the meeting was strengthening referral pathways, how to improve GBV Prevention, Responses, Sustainability & Action plan.

835 flood-affected households in Marsabit County have received crucial WASH Non-Food Items (NFIs) through an impactful project led by SNDAfrica, in collaboration with @oxfaminKE, and funded by @AusHPship. These essential items, including water purification chemicals, 100-liter storage tanks, 20-liter jerry cans, laundry basins, multipurpose bar soaps, powdered detergent, and reusable sanitary pads, are set to significantly improve hygiene and sanitation in the community. To ensure effective use, we also provided training on how to use and maintain the reusable pads, empowering women and girls with knowledge that will improve their menstrual health management.
