People can be eloquent and well-read and still be some bigoted idiots, so no. I will reject the idea of leaving politics to politicians.

The point is he wasn’t given a platform to give his opinion on politics. He isn’t qualified or versed enough. And even if he was, it’s not his lane or area of expertise. We don’t ask dentists how to build houses, nor do we get mad at them if they don’t comment on modern architecture problems. If he clearly had something to say, he would’ve said it. He started the clip by saying no one should care about his opinion, and he’s right to think so.

@scvpegxvt1 @nojumper Political opinions are by nature subjective, so that’s not a real argument to make. Also, you don’t have to be personally affected by an ongoing issue in order to comment on it. He also clearly had something to say, so I don’t see the problem here.

“Better” is subjective. What’s better for you isn’t better for the next person. Entertainers aren’t the judge to decide it. If he decides to write a song about it because it affects him personally then go ahead but for people to expect him to give his opinion and weaponize it against him is insane.
