Something is going on with $FARTCOIN. FARTCOIN launched in late Oct 24 but it didn’t make its first parabolic run until mid/late November. The timing matters because a move like that almost certainly required a market maker to be onboarded, and in this case, that market maker was Wintermute. Why does FARTCOIN launching 1 year ago have any relevance? Monad just released their usually-gated "market making + liquidity info" x.com/0xkydo/status/… Out of all the agreements listed, Wintermute is the only one with a 1-year loan deal. Meaning, they had to return that supply this month. Similar deal with FARTCOIN team? If you check Wintermute’s main wallet, which held almost 7% of the entire FARTCOIN supply, it’s now completely depleted: intel.arkm.com/explorer/entit… GateIO’s hot wallet shows a similar pattern, their holdings dropped from ~7% to ~4%, with a lot of transfers between them and Wintermute in the process. #holders" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">solscan.io/token/9BB6NFEc… Adding to that: a fresh whale wallet scooped up nearly 4% of the entire FARTCOIN supply off Gate 2/3 days ago. All activity looks relatively normal (just a whale?) Working theory: Wintermute returned the loan, dev/team received the tokens and market-sold the entire batch. This explains the insane weakness a few days ago, followed by an equally violent snapback once that massive Wintermute overhang finally cleared. (Wintermute were notoriously bearish for FARTCOIN) Dev/deployer wallets show no direct selling, so if it happened it was probably routed through a side wallet. But what’s clear is: a huge chunk of supply has been flushed from the system. Tracking this. More soon.
