The Heat lottery protected the 2027 pick owed to the Hornets, but now the lottery changed. Is it still 1-14 or it’ll be 1-18 next year?

@iBeFrankyG Assuming they opt in to Young and Pelle’s contracts they’d be around $130M with 4 available roster spots. Add our FRP ($4.5M-ish) and our SRP ($1.27M) and we’re at $136M with 2 spots. Cap is projected to be around $165M. Even using the full MLE the team is under the cap.

I led the nonprofit that successfully sued the neo-Nazis responsible for the Charlottesville violence. A jury found them liable for a conspiracy to commit violence, a verdict that courts have upheld. It was not a hoax. This is abhorrent, even if it’s not surprising.
