@MiamiCalor They have 2 perennially injured former all stars. One of which is a cone on D whose specialty is jacking up shots. No surprise ATL finished the season playing their best ball in more than a decade without Trae. Oh and who’s their coach? New faces, same Wizards. Calm down.

@alexcavallo Now they have two top-3 draft picks, plus two All-Star caliber players. Sarr is better than any young player on the Heat’s roster by far. The last time Miami got an All-Star was in 2019

Pisou Na Linha | NBA 🏀🇧🇷@pisounalinha

@wizardsbrasil_

It still blows my mind that the NBA lottery is allowed to happen behind the scenes and not in front of everyone

@hottakeharry The lottery isn’t changed. The board of governors vote May 28 and it requires 23/30 teams to agree.

The Heat lottery protected the 2027 pick owed to the Hornets, but now the lottery changed. Is it still 1-14 or it’ll be 1-18 next year?

@AfterBurn305 You think the Heat have a worse roster than Utah, and Brooklyn? Maybe keep your basketball takes to yourself if they’re this stupid.

All things considered, i truly believe the Heat have the worse roster in the association. After the draft teams that were behind them will have better assets, more youth, and more cap space than the Heat. What a prideful mess they are.

The Bulls cleaned out their entire previous core for a total of ZERO 1sts and are somehow closer to being rebuilt for title contension than the Heat. Tells you everything you need to know about how awful our Front Office is.

@ChefTrillie @HEATSportsOG A real human who claims to know what’s going on should know that the owner doesn’t own the venue. There is zero advantage for the owner to push for an ASG.

DWade really put this franchise on the map. We don’t get All-Star games. We don’t get star players. The league doesn’t rig shit for us. Our owner is cheap. What’s the point of being in a city like Miami ? Just wasting this location

@iBeFrankyG Assuming they opt in to Young and Pelle’s contracts they’d be around $130M with 4 available roster spots. Add our FRP ($4.5M-ish) and our SRP ($1.27M) and we’re at $136M with 2 spots. Cap is projected to be around $165M. Even using the full MLE the team is under the cap.

Charlottesville was a hoax in the sense that there were a few hundred actual white supremacists there and that was probably the entire population of active such people in the US. So we have been on a decade long freakout about "white supremacy", instituted mass discrimination against white men in every institution and corporation, and spread non-stop moral panic in media that turned society upside down over a few hundred nutjobs in a park on one Saturday.

I led the nonprofit that successfully sued the neo-Nazis responsible for the Charlottesville violence. A jury found them liable for a conspiracy to commit violence, a verdict that courts have upheld. It was not a hoax. This is abhorrent, even if it’s not surprising.

The Miami HEAT will enter the NBA Draft Lottery on May 10 with either the 12th or 13th pick, depending on the Phoenix Suns. If Phoenix makes the playoffs: HEAT are 13th (4.8% top-4 odds, 1% No. 1 pick) If Phoenix misses the playoffs: HEAT move to 12th (7.1% top-4 odds, 1.5% No. 1 pick) Miami’s draft position could ultimately land anywhere from a top-four selection to the mid-lottery range, depending on how the lottery unfolds.
