90-year-old Gary Player says most people age faster because they refuse to do one simple thing “We all eat like it’s the Last Supper.” Host: “You’re 90 and still full of energy. What’s your secret?” Gary Player: “Nothing happens automatically. If you want to stay healthy, you have to work at it.” “The most important thing isn’t exercise. It’s what you eat.” “If you want to live a long time, you have to undereat. Most people are overweight.” “The doctor told me if I wanted to reach 100, I should weigh even less than I did in my athletic prime.” Host: “What’s next after diet?” Gary Player: “Exercise… and laugh a lot. Laughter really is the best medicine.”

Joe Budden says Spotify praised his podcast as a “model of excellence”… then allegedly couldn’t find the data needed to pay a bonus. According to Joe, there was a year-two benchmark tied to additional compensation. The podcast was reportedly number one all year. Then came the explanation: The systems were hacked, and the information for that category was gone. Joe says he’s not telling the story because he’s bitter. He’s telling it because the experience completely changed how he thinks about platform deals.

Aaron Rodgers just made something VERY clear: even if this season goes perfectly, he’s still walking away. He admitted he had already shut the door on football before Mike McCarthy’s hiring made him reconsider. The host then gave him the perfect hypothetical: What if your body feels great? What if you win playoff games? What if you’re loving it? Rodgers didn’t even entertain it. “No, no. This is it.”

Tom Holland says playing Spider Man with an American accent helps separate him from his real self “Physicality is step one for me with any character.” “Having an American accent is almost like a disguise.” “The moment I start speaking with an English accent, I feel like I go into press mode.” “It feels like a representation of who I am as a person.” “I’d love to explore more British accents because we have some of the most interesting and unique ones.”

Stephen A. Smith says the real problem in wealthy relationships isn’t the man or the woman. It’s the system. His argument: If a man built $50M or $100M before meeting someone, why should that person automatically be entitled to a large portion of what was accumulated before they entered his life? But Stephen makes an important distinction. The children are different. “They ain’t asked to be here.” He argues that once children are involved, their lifestyle and wellbeing become the parents’ responsibility. Then he takes aim at young athletes suddenly handed tens of millions before they’ve even learned how to manage it.

Janella Monáe says we should all Thank Our Exes as they forced us to deal with something we weren’t going to deal with “They pushed you to go back to the route of the problem, you were not gonna do it, you are moving, too busy moving you don’t have time but that relationship, the ending of that specific relationship forced that”

Stephen A. Smith asked a question that took the conversation somewhere nobody expected 😂 “Did it positively or negatively influence your sex life?” Tori Cooper’s answer? “Absolutely. Positively impacted my sex life.” She says it made her feel more passionate and present, before Stephen A. starts asking about the different types and how they affect people differently.

Shaq thinks analytics ruined the creativity of NBA offense. Iman Shumpert thinks something even bigger disappeared. “Everybody plays the same way.” Then Iman explains what he misses: “There’s no progressions no more.” A point guard used to realize a certain action was working and basically say: You can’t stop this? Cool. We’re running it every time. Now teams often seem more focused on running the right shot than repeatedly attacking the same weakness.

The internet turned Nara Smith into the face of the “trad wife” movement… she says they got it completely wrong. “I kept correcting the narrative, but nobody was listening.” When people started calling her a trad wife, she looked up the definition herself. Then she broke it down point by point: • “I’m not a homemaker.” • “I’m a working mom.” • “I travel constantly.” • “I cook because I love it and because of my autoimmune condition.” She says people built an entire identity around 90-second videos without knowing her real life.

Would you hand over your entire life savings to an AI agent on day one? Probably not. In this clip from The Based Show, @KenDicross (founder of @WireNetwork) breaks down how to balance risk when using AI in finance. Just like Bitcoin and Ethereum needed years to prove their security and gain widespread trust, AI agents need time to earn ours. The key? Start small, test the waters with an amount you're comfortable with, and let confidence build over time.
