Hace unos días pregunté a @MrsTad sobre una posible traducción y publicación de la obra integra de Osten Ard escrita por @tadwilliams No se espera a corto plazo ese escenario por los costes de la traducción/derechos y la rentabilidad de la editorial encargada. Algún día,gente ❤️‍🩹

@MalazanColtaine @MrsTad Totalmente de acuerdo. Esta saga es una joya que no tiene el reconocimiento que se merece. Por no mencionar el impacto que tuvo en cómo entienden muchos escritores actuales la fantasía moderna.

Como minimo en las grandes editoriales españolas deberian estar tipo: ¡PAREN LAS IMPRENTAS! ¡SE CANCELAN LAS 30 EDICIONES NUEVAS DE MISTBORN! ¡SE CANCELAN LOS LIBROS CON CANTOS TINTADOS A SOBREPRECIO! ¡SE COMIENZA A REEDITAR TODO lO DE OSTEN ARD DE TAD WILLIAMS!

@DocCoyle @ChrisAballo GF deserves bigger recognition. Albums like Gone forever or Constitution of Treason are great. Killer riffs and unique personality.

Here is a clip from a surprise episode of the Ex-Man hosted by our man @ChrisAballo of the Cape Pod interviewing Corey Pierce and myself about how God Forbid’s ‘Constitution of Treason’ was written. I was almost afraid to post this clip because it might come off like I have disdain for the hardcore or metalcore scenes. I have all the love for the scenes. I became the person I am because of the hardcore scene, and I’ll never forget that. I was speaking to what was going though our heads around 2004-2008. When we first discovered the scene, we felt like tourists or infiltrators and I think deservingly treated that way, and we busted our ass to earn the respect of the community and other bands in order to belong. I think we did that. And now, I think it bothers when God Forbid isn’t often included in the story of modern Metalcore or not invited to play any of the newer hardcore fests. But watching this clip, I get that we probably created some of that distance from the scene. Anti-metalcore metalcore or something like that. Ironically, I don’t think we were ever totally accepted by the “true” metal world either. So, I think also being biracial, a big part of my identity is feeling like I never really fit in anywhere. This weekend of God Forbid shows in California was an absolute pleasure. Hearing all of the old fans tell us there stories of seeing the band 20 years ago and have continued that support decades late was very moving. Considering that the band was dormant for so long, we don’t take any of this for granted. Much love to all the bands we jammed with - Burton C Bell, Skinlab, Exmortus, Throw Into Exile, Bleeding Through, Carnifex, Nekrogoblikon, I Declare War, and Last Of Our Kind.
