Our first and last week of Year 2. 💙 Team 2M! 🌟

We enjoyed making smoothies in Year 2 today. We have spent this half-term designing and bringing our own smoothies to life! ☀️🌈

2M’s reading rockstars! 🎸 We have loved getting lost in stories this week, getting to take part in a workshop with @UrsulaHurstArt and have enjoyed a reading picnic with parents and children from St Mary’s High School. 💙📚

Before half term, we celebrated the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee in school. We had a whole school picnic, made crowns, made up some of our own rules and wrote a letter to send our congratulations to the Queen. 2M had the best time! 🇬🇧👸🏼👑💂‍♀️

Last week, Year 2 wrote their own riddles based on the book ‘Farmyard Hullabaloo’ for @Year1_Layton🐰🐛🦊🦉. 2M thoroughly enjoyed spending the morning with 1W, where they all got to read and guess each others riddles. Thank you for having us!🤩
