I built CourtWatch.us — a free public database for American citizens who deserve safer communities. You can track which judges released defendants who then got rearrested, skipped court, or violated their release conditions. All public records. All free. I started with Orange County FL and will be expanding to all 67 Florida counties and eventually every state in the country. This first batch of info is from 2024 and since public reports are released in March/April for the previous year, data is behind. But I wanted to see if this is plausible. After adding 2024,I'll add 2025 and then figure out how to get real-time-data uploaded. It's in beta — would love to know what you think 👇 Numbers don't lie, but criminals do. courtwatch.us @bennyjohnson @jockowillink @GrantCardone @LauraLoomer @nickshirleyy @j_fishback

I need to learn more about growing my b2b service business as a solo owner operator. My goal is to exit the field ASAP. What are the best books, podcasts, or YouTube channels to learn from?

I don’t think people understand how lonely it is to build something no one else can see yet. You sit in a room with the future and everyone outside the room thinks you’re crazy. And then one day the data speaks and the room gets very crowded very fast.

@anatelorenzen If you leave your egg carton open when you’re cracking eggs for breakfast, there’s a 100% chance you put the eggshells back in the carton. If closed, the egg shells get thrown away. Humans often take the least resistant path. Take away resistance from teams to modify behavior.

@alexpappasreal @andrewjrod actually yeah I can formalize the diff Claude is able to one-shot scripts much more often than gpt or Gemini which often need many cycles of debugging

used $200 in Claude credits to rapidly iterate more than 70 in depth experiments for a project in days which probably would’ve taken me >3 months to do by hand. I’ve now deemed the project too difficult/potentially impossible & so have saved more than 3 months of wasted work

@andrewjrod @jouyan11 Hey, are you two seeing any huge differences between using Claude vs Gemini for coding projects together? Currently using Gemini

Saw that StarterStory was sold today. Congrats! Those guys rock. They inspired us to launch our own channel (starting it today) breaking down the nitty gritty details of running a small business. Officially purchased the domain and getting it started.

I have a theory that everyone consumed a piece of media between 9-13 years old that is the foundation of their entire worldview. Everything they learnt since was stacked on top of this. Asking this is one of my favourite ways to get to know someone.

I can share my personal experience, which might explain part of this decline. I was an AppSumo Plus member for several years, a loyal and engaged customer. I recently made the decision to cancel my subscription, and I believe my case is probably not isolated. Over the years, I submitted several SaaS products to your platform. These weren't projects thrown together quickly: they had several years of existence, solid track records, real users, and a clear vision. I made sure they perfectly aligned with AppSumo's image and standards. Result? Systematic rejection. No detailed explanation, no constructive feedback to understand what was wrong. Just rejections. At the same time, while browsing your platform, I noticed with some bitterness that many AI tools, developed in two weeks by creators who came out of nowhere, are accepted without difficulty. Products with no track record, no long-term validated proof of concept. The message this sends is clear: AppSumo now prioritizes opportunism and riding the current hype rather than recognizing mature and established projects. I fully understand the business aspect: AI sells, it's the hot topic, it drives traffic. But by making this choice, you're losing your DNA. AppSumo was supposed to be the platform for real builders, those who build for the long term. If your revenue is declining, it might be because customers like me, who were looking for solid tools rather than quick-flip products, no longer recognize themselves in what the platform has become. I'm probably not the only former loyal member in this situation. This is feedback you should seriously consider for your curation strategy. But perhaps, as usual, this message will also fall on deaf ears.
