@Nexon_America how long does it even take for you all to respond to a support request? I've had one logged for TFD for 9 days now and it hasn't even had a courtesy "we are looking at it" response. WTF?

So, as a Canadian, I decided to watch the 2024 presidential debate between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump. Can anyone explain to me how this is supposedly a close race. Seriously, how is this possible.

@Odytrice The problem is between the screen and the chair not a specific language though some are more enabling then others for this type of behavior.

I can confidently say it’s not a .Net issue, It’s a C# issue. It’s one of the reasons I got into F#. The culture in FP is write the functions first and only then decide the abstractions. F# has always been a pragmatic language from the jump #dotnet reddit.com/r/dotnet/s/52G…

The amount of copium I am seeing on my feed is a bit nuts. Mark my words, the solution presented after this is all over will be MORE security tooling (one service/tool to hedge against or help recover from different service/tooling). There will not be introspection.

@tazwake Feasible yes practical no. You could tamper with an evidence file to make it match what you want and modify the jibberish/meaningless (to the reader) space until the hash matches.

Cybersecurity question: If I have OBJECT (say a disk image, or log file, whatever). and I take an MD5 hash of OBJECT. Is there a feasible attack whereby you can change OBJECT while retaining the same MD5? But there is a caveat. You have to be able to manipulate the evidence.

@bettersafetynet I am flabbergasted by the unfounded statements you make in this 🧵. And Furries are regular people why you feel the need to write this dribble I truly don’t know. This is like saying cosplayers or dnd players or folks who like to fish are major players at tech orgs.

I'm floored that I'm feeling compelled to write this. Maybe some folks don't realize this? Furries. The community everyone loves to rag on... they're a major player at tech orgs. Let me start by saying I'm not a furry, and personally I don't get the scene... but I respect 'em 1

Everyone says Kubernetes is the worst mistake you can make, you’ll lose so much time debugging it, etc. Our 2 person infra team runs k8s for our 25 person eng team. Deploy 15x a day, all automated, super smooth. It is so low drama the infra roadmap has never mentioned it. YMMV

@mtaulty @Telegraph @astor_charlie Is Reform basically “back to the future” we need to move forward towards where we were in the past (which was definitely better). It’s the worst kind of right wing populism :( worse than conservative it’s going backwards

@dvassallo There are limits along stretches of the autobahn where you get closer to major cities. The speed limit is removed only along the stretches that are wide, straight and have very few/no exits. Accident rates aren’t higher because the lack of traffic.

Can someone explain to me what's the rationale of having no speed limit on German highways? How is this not massively endangering others? Not even F1 allows cars to have a 100mph difference. The 107% rule prevents cars that are 7% slower from competing, for safety reasons.
Nic Cruz Patane@niccruzpatane

Casually cruising at the M3P’s 263km/h (163mph) top speed on the Autobahn. (LG) Looks super stable. Germans are just built different! lol

We can now use: - MS copilot for free. - Latest GPT (with limits) but for free. - GPT via Apple for free. - Apple own models for free. - Google gemini for free. - A trillion other models via Huggingface and others, for free. So how exactly is anyone going to make $ on this?
