The European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) has issued a fresh safety advisory urging European airlines to avoid flying through the airspace of several Gulf countries, citing an increased risk from missile and drone attacks amid escalating regional tensions. According to the latest Conflict Zone Information Bulletin (CZIB), EASA has advised operators not to fly at any altitude within the airspace of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, and parts of Oman’s Gulf of Oman airspace until July 29, unless the situation is reviewed earlier.
