@pickover Neither both 0 & 0i are imaginary or non-imaginary b/c 0 ≠ 0i 0 is a non-imaginary number & 0i is an imaginary number therefore they can't be equated to each other. This is a false statement designed to confuse the reader by combining the two worlds of numbers. Again 0 ≠ 0i

Mathematics. A mathematician emerges from a cave, hands you the slip of paper below, and says "Are both 0 and 0i considered imaginary numbers, or are neither imaginary numbers?" What is your response?
