One of the funniest things is Liverpool thinking they can take Olise from Bayern Munich. He’s not at Crystal Palace anymore he’s at Bayern, a club bigger than you in every way. It’s like someone thriving at Real Madrid and suddenly you think, “oh yeah, we can tempt him away.” The reality is simple: ambition, status, project, money, and the platform all matter. Bayern offers elite competition, the Champions League, and a team built around winning. So what exactly would motivate him to leave that for Liverpool? It’s not just about money or history, it’s about platform, security, and personal growth. At Bayern, Olise has stability, high-level teammates around him, and a tactical setup that fits his strengths. He’s being developed to dominate games, and he knows that the next few seasons could define his peak. Moving to Liverpool would mean rebuilding influence, competing for minutes, and adjusting to a system that may or may not maximize him the same way. Even if Liverpool is a big club, in this case it’s a step sideways at best, or even a small risk in terms of career progression. Bayern gives him fame, trophies, and individual recognition, and that’s hard to beat especially when you’re already thriving and on the radar for elite honors. Basically, this isn’t just about ability it’s about context, timing, and the project around him. Olise has no reason to leave a club that’s already shaping itself around him just for a club that can’t offer the same certainty or trajectory.

@yannbluezzzz @topskillsportuk Bro said ‘being stacked doesn’t win games’ while France made 11 changes and still dismantled Colombia 😂 Mbappé, Dembélé,Olise,Barcola,Cherki,Doue that’s not potential like that’s a cheat code. Overconfidence? Nah, underestimating this depth is what gets you knocked out early.

@alihendro10 @topskillsportuk Being stacked or terrifying doesn't win you games, but overconfidence definitely kills, there are many big nations in the tournament, details make you win the same way they make you lose. Stay focused and be humble

🚨💣😳 Didier Deschamps is left FURIOUS after Lucas Hernandez COMMENT: 🇫🇷🥶 “Lucas Hernandez said we had the best attack in the world? I’m going to have to talk to him about it right away. Obviously we have the potential, yes. Like 8 or 10 teams. The ambition, I have it. We must not lose our humility. I’m not going to hide it. But it’s not by trumpeting that we’re the best-looking and the strongest that we’re going to get there.” (Press conference)

@FabrizioRomano 5-year deal with top salary for De Zerbi? 😂 Spurs really out here handing long-term contracts to a guy who’s never won a trophy, left Brighton in chaos, and turned Marseille into a circus… while fighting relegation. Relegation guaranteed.

🚨 Roberto De Zerbi and Tottenham, in regular contact since yesterday to try find an agreement and get the deal done. Five year contract ready with top salary, with RDZ and his camp in discussions with Spurs. It’s always been the priority; despite links with Dyche & more names.

Nico Gonzalez has been better than Rodri since his ACL, so it is not the biggest loss for them. Not the same player he was pre-ACL. Time for Pep to start prepping without him, and leave him on the bench for the rest of the season. Cannot believe he would disrespect the club like that.

@AkzAfc Bro I’m still baffled that even at half time him and his coaching staff couldn’t find a solution he once said on a press conference that he wants to be braver by taking off a goalkeeper for another goalkeeper in a game. yesterday was the right time to do that he chickened out.

Arteta watched that city press for 45 minutes. He didn’t think to himself “Let me bring on Calafiori at 45” “Let me play a pivot of MLS- Rice to have a player confident of receiving BTG” “Let me bring on Dowman to receive “BTL”

Enrique took a player from Wolves & turned him into the best midfielder in the world. Took a “wasted talent” from barca & made him a Ballon d’Or winner. That’s what elite coaching looks like, improving players. Meanwhile after 7 seasons, Saka has regressed as a player under Mikel

Why didn't Saka try to pass it?

Pep Guardiola proved yesterday that Mikel Arteta’s 'Perfect System' has a fatal flaw. Here’s how: - City abandoned their usual central overloads. Instead, Pep set a flexible 3-2-5. The plan was to stretch Arsenal wide crush their man marking and dominate space. - In the first 20 minutes, 56% of attacks came down the left, 37% down the right. Only 7% centrally which is interesting. Arsenal’s midfield was bypassed entirely. City dictated where the game happened. - James Trafford held the build up. Khusanov, Ake and Nunes formed a shifting back three. Rodri frequently dropped swapping vertically with Nunes. This killed Havertz’s pressing triggers and let City own territory. - On the right, Semenyo stayed wide as a pin. Cherki rotated around him forcing Arsenal’s compact block out of shape. This created space on the left for Doku in 1v1s against Ben White. - Nico O’Reilly pushed high like a shadow striker. When Kepa fumbled Bernardo Silva’s cross, O’Reilly ghosted in to score. Minutes later, Nunes delivered and O’Reilly was there again. Clinical. - Off the ball, City pressed like a symphony. Haaland and Cherki blocked central progress. Doku pinned the right. Semenyo smothered Declan Rice whenever he tried to switch play. Arsenal had no easy outlet. - When Arsenal tried direct balls for Gyokeres, Khusanov neutralized him. Rodri-Nunes-Ake formed a counter pressing wall cutting off second balls. Arsenal could not recover possession meaningfully. This 2-0 against is a proof of Guardiola’s tactical genius where he discarded the season long plan for a final perfectly executing a new system and mathematically controlling Arsenal’s every move. 💙
