BREAKING: Donald Trump gets jaw-dropping bad news as it's revealed that the U.S. economy actually added 911,000 fewer jobs over the 12 months ending in March than previously reported — the largest revision in history. This is absolutely earth-shattering... According to newly released report from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, a reevaluation of the data discovered that the numbers had been over-reported by close to 1 million jobs. After this new adjustment, the numbers have dropped by a staggering 0.6%. The monthly reports from the BLS are based on one survey conducted on households and a second conducted on businesses. As more data is obtained after the monthly report comes out, the numbers are revised for accuracy. A crucial redundancy is built in by revising older employment data based on the Quarterly Census of Employment and Wages. Economists had predicted that the BLC revision based on the QCEW could range from 500,000 to 1 million jobs. At 911,000, it's much closer to the worst case scenario than the best. The incredibly bad news comes at a time when Donald Trump can ill afford it. The latest jobs report revealed that a measly 22,000 jobs were added last month instead of the predicted 76,500 despite him scapegoating and firing the labor statistics chief Erika McEntarfer last month.
