2/2. Europe’s politicians were caught napping whilst their efforts and attention were swallowed up by the wasteful Brexit. And Putin was allowed to continue his evil deeds unchecked. How’s that for a Brexit ‘benefit’, NOT!!!

1/2. Why does no one pick up on the startling fact that whilst much of Europe’s politicians were tied up with Brexit wasting millions working hours and billions of pounds/euros, Putin was quietly getting on with the ongoing annexation of Crimea and prepping for Ukraine invasion.

Whilst I wish @RishiSunak every success in office - it looks as though security will be the Achilles heel of this government. Pushing people with poor security practices back into office as though security does not matter erodes international credibility. theguardian.com/politics/2021/…
