Tip for Teachers and Admins: When you see a kid in the hallway, the first words out of your mouth need to be connection not correction. Don't start with "where are you suppose to be?" start with "Hey, how are you? Everything okay?" Then you can ask where they need to be.

@Hayden_King This is similar to questions I came upon recently for Remembrance Day: “Talk/ask your family about how they felt during WW2/or interview a family member who was a solider during WW2”. These kinds of questions/situations made me feel like an outsider while I was in school

This is actual Grade 3 homework from my daughter's class. No, not everyone's family were pioneer settlers with funny looking clothes, school board which will remain nameless for now.
