I’m no expert on cows but they are nosy as hell. If ur doin something near a cow they’re gonna come look. If there’s a structure near them,they gotta wander in and see what’s goin on in there. I saw a yard sale set up in a barn and all the cows were inside lookin at the stuff.

@sodiumlights @FetishMid @DaveRogers27 @DG_Jenna1 @fesshole Dairy isn't a primary ingredient because they didn't raise cows domestically for food and milk (historically). No need for the lactase enzyme when you don't consume milk after infancy, so having lactose tolerance was not an advantage in these populations so it gets selected out.

@FetishMid @DaveRogers27 @DG_Jenna1 @fesshole "That’s because their cuisine doesn’t consist of dairy as a main ingredient." I believe this is fundamentally the wrong way round. Dairy isn't a primary ingredient because it's not easily digested. North Western Europe is the genetic oddity here.

I have to spend Christmas with my husband's family. They insist on using milk in recipes despite knowing that I can't digest lactose as I'm Chinese. So, this year, I'm not going to take any Lactaid. I predict massive farts and no-one objecting when I suggest leaving early.

Last Boxing Day night the neighbours had friends over who brought their karaoke machine and kept us awake singing in the backyard until 2am. They then apologised profusely when we next saw them. Guess who are singing again and keeping me awake.. 🤦‍♀️
