Introduction of #YIXING’s new single “中巴情长 (Pak-Cheen Dosti Zindabad)” The year 2026 marks the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Pakistan. As a key cultural project in the series of celebrations for this milestone, the official commemorative song “中巴情长 Pak-Cheen Dosti Zindabad”, jointly produced by the China International Culture Communication Center and the Embassy of Pakistan in China, uses youthful and resonant voices to celebrate the enduring “ironclad friendship” between the two nations. The lyrics were co-written by renowned lyricist and former Director of the CCTV Arts Centre, Zou Youkai, together with Pakistani artist Hassan Ali Effendi. The song was jointly composed by Chinese young singer and music producer Lay Zhang @layzhang alongside Pakistani singer Natasha Baig, Yan Muchen, and Muzammil Muzi, and is performed together by Lay Zhang and Natasha Baig. Rooted in the rock-solid and ever-enduring friendship between China and Pakistan over the past 75 years, the work blends the cultural heritage of the Silk Road with the artistic imagery of Gandhara civilisation. Its melody skilfully merges the phonetic beauty of Chinese and Urdu, using both national and international musical expression to compose a heartfelt ode to the China–Pakistan friendship that transcends mountains and rivers and is passed down through generations. 260525 @layzhang
