apple just dropped the macbook neo and the compromises are crazy: - no backlit keyboard - non-thunderbolt usb-c ports - no magsafe (charging uses one of the only 2 ports) - max 8gb ram, not upgradeable - no touch id on the base model and people will still spend $599 just for that one logo.
