@gregbagwell Greg - to some this is not a surprise but as a former team member offered when challenged - he claimed he’d seen worse on the front line …. I’m not sure what that says about the team or indeed the FL! My view - drastic changes are needed…

Not the Red’s finest hour, but some perspective needs to be applied. Those who transgressed have gone, once the allegations came to light formally. More needs to be done, but calls for the end of the team are overblown and, perhaps, an indicator of more malign intent by some….

Today in the Log Book. 1 Nov 2021. Spitfire TR9 G-ILDA. Of all the aircraft I've flown, I'd never flown a Spitfire. Took me until age 60 (my dad did it on 14 Dec 1943, age 20). Two trips - one back, one front, and cleared solo by my old friend @testpilotjim. Thanks Jim.

Thanks to Phill O’Dell for giving me an overview of the @UKAeroInstitute funded ACCEL project and for telling me how the aircraft handled. Achieving the all-electric speed record was quite something and all underpinned by significant advances in understanding battery technology.

PB2000 - my MC check whilst on exchange with the @RAAF - to this day I feel privileged to have flown on a mission where I saw probably the most impressive single event by a one of my exchange colleagues - ‘Bag Robertson’ - legend!

Today in the Log Book. 10 June 2005. F-18B No 161356. High Angle of Attack handling qualities sortie with the US Navy Test Pilot School at NAS Patuxent River. I loved visiting USNTPS - an excellent organisation in a lovely part of the world (..especially the Tiki Bar..).

Today in the Log Book. 4 June 2019. G520 D-FHHH. Privileged to fly this unique aircraft with the brilliant @TaiR01199645 on a trial sortie. Surprisingly good flying qualities for a high altitude surveillance and research platform, but very glad that Tom flew the landing!
