@DrClownPhD Especially since you are not able to get monetized for it. It is only for people who want to push a product or service

@nikitabier I think a very valuable thing would be able to have some sort of an indicator on your following/follower list to tell you if they're online or not.

Well, if you look at my post, you'll see the system prompt at least for Gemini voice assistant, and you'll see why I don't use Gemini. Good for logic or research ability. I guess if you can trust the diversity check and all that stuff, I don't. So I won't be using that. x.com/i/status/20496…

BREAKING: OpenAI's own CFO just privately admitted the company can't pay its bills. They're valued at $852 billion. They just raised $122 billion. And they're running out of money. Here's what's actually happening inside the most important company in AI: April 28, 2026. The Wall Street Journal drops a report that sends shockwaves through every AI-linked stock on the market. OpenAI missed multiple monthly revenue targets in early 2026. And CFO Sarah Friar privately warned colleagues that if revenue doesn't accelerate, the company may not be able to fund its own computing contracts. Not a short seller. Not a competitor. Their own finance chief. Oracle dropped 5.5%. Nvidia dropped. AMD dropped 4%. CoreWeave dropped 5.4%. Billions wiped in a single session. All because of one internal conversation that leaked. OpenAI has committed $600 billion in compute spending through 2030. That's not a typo. $600,000,000,000. Paid out to Oracle, Microsoft, Google, Amazon, CoreWeave, and Nvidia for chips and data center capacity. Take-or-pay contracts. That means OpenAI owes the money whether they use the compute or not. And the revenue to cover it isn't showing up. In 2025, OpenAI did $13.1 billion in full-year revenue. Still unprofitable. Cash burn is estimated to hit $17 billion in 2026 alone. Read that again. They're spending $17 billion this year. Bringing in less than that. And they've promised $600 billion more on top of it. Internal projections reportedly show cash expenditures will exceed $200 billion before OpenAI ever reaches positive cash flow. Friar isn't just worried about this year. She told colleagues the company isn't ready to go public in 2026 at all. Altman wants to file in Q4. Friar wants 2027. They put out a joint statement calling the WSJ report "ridiculous." Then Altman's own memo to employees surfaced. He wrote: "a lot of the things that we do that look weird, buying huge amounts of compute while our revenue is relatively small..." He said it himself. So how did the most valuable private company in history end up here? ChatGPT launched in November 2022. 100 million users in two months. The fastest product adoption in history. OpenAI was untouchable. Then Google released Gemini. Anthropic scaled Claude. And OpenAI started losing ground. Google took consumer market share and Anthropic took coding and enterprise. OpenAI missed its internal target of 1 billion weekly active users by year-end 2025. Subscriber defections reported. Monthly revenue targets missed, more than once. And here's the part the headlines buried: Anthropic just crossed $30 billion in annualized revenue in April 2026. While spending roughly a quarter of what OpenAI spends on training. OpenAI's annualized revenue: approximately $25 billion. Anthropic passed them. Altman committed $600 billion in compute because the strategy was always the same: Spend aggressively. Dominate. Monetize from dominance. It worked when OpenAI had no real competition. That window is closed. Now here's what this means for your money: Every AI infrastructure stock was built on one assumption. OpenAI's demand is infinite. Oracle's $300 billion compute deal. CoreWeave's entire business model. Nvidia's forward order book. All of it underwrote by the belief that ChatGPT would keep growing and the bill would keep getting paid. That assumption cracked Tuesday. Oracle down 5.5%. CoreWeave down 5.4%. AMD down 4%. Nvidia down. Retail investors had a narrative that felt safe. Until the WSJ publishes a conversation from inside the boardroom. That's how fast concentrated bets reprice. The investors who survived Tuesday weren't lucky. They were diversified. They had rules. When the story changes overnight, rules-based strategies don't flinch. That's the difference between a system and a bet...

Okay, I have to say this because I wish someone had told me sooner... Eating fat doesn't make you fat. I know. It sounds backwards. But fat doesn't just go straight to your hips the second you eat it. Your body's smarter than that. What actually drives fat storage? Too many calories overall... and honestly, the processed stuff loaded with sugar and refined carbs is way more responsible than a handful of almonds or some olive oil. Don't fear the avocado. It's not the villain here.

@OrahOnX I thought about using it the other day, because I wanted an alternative to Grok, I had been having some issues with the recent update. But I ended up going with Kimi Ai. The problem I have with OpenAI and ChatGPT is the censorship, and all the safety stuff has ruined it.

I missed this in the news yesterday. Apparently the Artemis astronauts came to visit the White House. I have several friends who think the Artemis mission was faked by NASA. They think a lot of things I don't agree with. But what would give them that idea? @d2fl

@LawyerDave1 @d2fl Pre jungle primary. And he got in because of the Gray Davis recall. He wasn't an extremist certainly, but CA was 10% more Republican then.

@d2fl Had to answer the phone and hit send to early. My point was that Schwarzenegger is evidence that CA will vote for a GOP pol, but not an extremist. He ran for re-election in 2006 (a bad year for the GOP overall) and won by a million votes.

Swalwell is the sacrifice. Democrats have dirt on all their politicians and are not afraid to use it. With a 2 way split in the Republican vote in the upcoming jungle primary and a 3 way split among the top Democrats, Republicans had a fighting chance to send both to the general election. By getting Swalwell out (and rest assured, the green light was given to the media), that means the Majority Democrat state can now be assured of at least one candidate in the primary and likely both. Jungle primaries should be illegal.
🇺🇸Roger Bernards🍊@RogerBernards

America! Keep in mind that the democrats are not abandoning Eric Swallow well because he is evil, they are abandoning him because he is a liability to them, and can’t win!! His behavior fits the democrat way just fine!!! Reject the whole lot of them!! 🤬🤬🤬

Why did he alter the image to put a Satanic god over his head? Maybe for the same reason he wouldn't put his hand on the Bible when being sworn in as president. You can’t make this stuff up! At least Trump came out and made it clear that he thought the image showed him as a doctor. Whether you believe that or not at least he didn’t double down. We need to find out who brought the image to Trump.

We strictly prohibit users from generating non-consensual explicit deepfakes and from using our tools to undress real people. xAI has extensive safeguards in place to prevent such misuse, such as continuous monitoring of public usage, analysis of evasion attempts in real time, frequent model updates, prompt filters, and additional safeguards.

Let's end the Van Allen radiation belt nonsense once and for all. Van Allen himself said it was safe to go through it, and advised NASA how to do it. Follow the thread of the quote.
Tom Finnell@d2fl

@knight_pat80320 Perhaps you'll believe him. James Van Allen, discoverer of the radiation belts named after him, stated that claims of fatal radiation exposure during Apollo missions were "nonsense."

@samwalkerlive @d2fl No, I don't want to come off that way. I was involved with Apollo, but it is just science that the Day and Night on the moon does not involve the sky changing. The sky is always black. But you can't see stars in the Day because sunlight dwarfs them.

I know you tell people that that Blue Marble image was created with Photoshop by Robert Simmons, but it was taken in 1972 from Apollo 17 with a single exposure and a Hasselblad camera. Photoshop wasn't even invented until 1990.

@knight_pat80320 @d2fl @SpaceTeapot18 It is your contention that NASA stopped going to the moon because the were afraid people would find out that they weren't really going to the moon. And they faked 13000 hours of video and film footage as well as 35000 photographs? Have to admit, that is a new one.

@alt_d2fl @d2fl @SpaceTeapot18 Once they started they couldn't stop... they fooled everyone the first time. Once people started scrutinizing pictures and technology to bring out inconsistencies, they suddenly stopped.
