it's expensive in real resource terms to make ornate furniture. that doesn't make ornate furniture a "backed" form of money. it'd be really helpful if crypto advocates learned what these terms actually mean rather than just redefining them in ways convenient to their worldview

#Bitcoin was built from the ground up by tech nerds, monetary theory enthusiasts, and anti-authoritarians. Bitcoin does not need the celebrities and influencers. Stop giving them your energy. Get back to building.

Makes me sad that people see bitcoin as just a gambling opportunity. #Bitcoin is the invention of verifiable digital scarcity. It is a major breakthrough in computer science.
