$BTC Bitcoin is still stuck and honestly it is starting to frustrate me. Price sitting at $70,879 and we are right back in the same compression zone we have been watching all month. The $72K to $76K resistance box is still acting as the ceiling, and every attempt to push through gets faded hard. The only thing keeping me from full bearish is that macro trendline around $64K. It held twice in February and that tells me there is real conviction down there. But BTC is still trading $15,000 below the EMA 200 at $86,079. That is not a healthy chart. Until I see a clean daily close above $75K with volume, I am staying patient.

$BTC $72K remains a difficult level for Bitcoin to break through. Would expect more volatility to kick in tomorrow as we head into the weekend. Usually some derisking and headlines on Friday's the past few weeks.

In the long term this difference is nothing" When you have people that have continuously ignored this entire down-move (NOT A BEAR MARKET!) the difference in future gains is MASSIVE. Like life changing massive actually. There are very few people that hold only Bitcoin. Meaning they either hold a mix of Bitcoin and alts or often even alts only. So yes when you are wrong like this and Bitcoin goes down like 50%? Maybe 60%? Or maybe even 70%? It might not totally wipe you out. BUT it's not about that. We know that ALTCOINS take the damage at a far higher multiplier than Bitcoin does. This isn't new. This normal common behavior in every downtrend we have always had. Meaning if you've continued to ignore this entire downtrend and have been preaching time and time again that this is no downtrend or bear market (same thing btw). Most portfolios are already at -90% or more by now. And that's without even knowing if Bitcoin could fall even lower than this (the downtrend has no absolute sign yet of being over). The problem? IT MATTERS. It matters everything being wrong here. "You'll be fine" A few very select individuals might. But no, many if not almost everyone will not easily recover from this. It's really hard to come back from a 90-95% loss on your portfolio. You literally need to have a 20x just to get break-even. And that's ONLY if you blasted your entire portfolio on 1 single token (100% allocation) and that one pulled off that 20x. No diversification, no room for failure or anything. That one call went wrong? Done, thanks for playing. And after all that? You're still just break even and nothing more. So yes, IT MATTERS. It matters everything imo! Now I don't want to sound pessimistic here. I love this space. Both ups and downs. Both how brutal and beautifull it can be in this space. But ignoring a potentially big downtrend and not accepting it and bagholding entirely through it will matter. It means there's 0 capital preservation and the next run to the upside you need something to make something. Dust will stay dust even if multiplied. There are ways to recover. It's not impossible. But ignoring downtrend are VERY costly. More so than any account that ignored this downtrend and says that it doesn't matter will ever admit.
