That was my read of the literature. Talk to people who take it and juxtapose their anecdotes with the data you’re referring to

I think you’re mixing two different situations. Replacing GH in someone with true deficiency may help normalize the excess risk associated with hypopituitarism. That does not mean giving “low-dose” GH to a healthy, non-deficient person increases longevity. No human longevity trial has shown that. The U-shaped IGF-1 data only suggest that both extremes may be unfavorable; they don’t prove that raising normal IGF-1 with GH is protective. And GH/IGF-1 activates the PI3K-AKT-mTOR growth pathway, so “more likely to increase longevity through mTOR regulation” is still a hypothesis, not an established outcome.

This is absolutely LOL and what the SICK CARE Medicine society continues to tell their patients. And all the Longevity and Life Extension people who've been using low dose GH now in their 80's who look and feel 35-40 are laughing at this misinformation! IT IS NOT TRUE!

@PeptideSkeptic @JayCampbell333 Therapeutic low dose GH does not increase mortality. It’s more likely to increase longevity via IGF-1 mTOR regulation. Too much exogenous GH will overstimulate pathway and accelerate aging. Too little IGF-1 mTOR stimulation also increases mortality

@JayCampbell333 That isn’t really misinformation though. Pathologically elevated GH and IGF-1 are associated with excess mortality, and controlling them brings mortality closer to normal.
