@wisdomXplorer Seems to be illustrated rather regularly on this platform.

@Mr_Husky1 I purchased a refurbished device from Apple. Had it for 9 years before moved onto a different one.

I accidentally broke my girlfriend's 5-year-old iPad and now she expects a brand new, bigger one even though we're deep in debt. Seriously. She's been out of a job for a year, living off my salary, and we've got moderate debt. So money is TIGHT. Her old iPad was 5 years old, she paid $1200 for it back then. I offered to buy her a refurbished version of the exact same model for $500. A fair replacement, right? Nope. She wants the newest, largest one for $1350 and claims refurbished stuff is unreliable and hers 'could've lasted years more'. I told her it feels like she's using my accident for a massive upgrade. Her response? I'm guilt-tripping her for MY mistake and I should just watch where I walk. Am I wrong for not wanting to pay $1350 for a replacement that should cost $500, especially when we're struggling?

Nobody is required to love your dog.
I know I sound like a prick.
But stop bringing them in stores.
Just last Friday, I stopped in a store and a guy in checkout has his dog and it jumps on me as I walk past them.
“Oh he just loves people” they say obliviously.
So? I’m having to go to customers and the dog got dirt streaks on the thigh of my pants.
And spare me the “if you don’t like it, don’t go in the store” bullshit.
If you can’t make it through a store without your dog, it’s not me with the issues.
I had a dog. It was a great dog. Best part of our family at times. But I expect NOBODY to have to deal with my occasionally over-excited dog, especially in a public place. I’d never have even thought of bringing a dog (I’ve seen it twice now) in a restaurant. Hell, if a person came over my house who was uncomfortable with it acting up, I’d take him in the other room.
And for those with actual service pets? You really should speak up, because the people who don’t have well trained dogs are going to lose you that privilege.
*end rant

@iky_fwjett Have the discussion now! If there's going to be any unpleasantness, just think what it might be if you wait too much longer.

My roommate is pregnant and I don’t know how to tell her that I don’t want the baby in our apartment
We are both in our mid twenty’s, I’m still in Uni und she’s working (I’m not sure what she does but it’s something where she does a lot of programming at home)
She got pregnant at a party and doesn’t know who the father is
I lived in the apartment first and she moved in 4 months ago, so I don’t see why I should move out
She hasn’t even suggested to move out but she has talked about planning a baby shower in the apartment (isn’t that something that happens later in the pregnancy?)
Anyways I really don’t wanna live with a baby but it’s kinda mean to just tell her to move out right?

@ken_kmak8542 I haven't been following him. However, I've heard others express what you have as well as other concerns they have, e.g. Christians being slain.

@alvasman If the pope was even handed & criticized the Democrat Catholics for their love abortion, many of us would be happy.

@MbarkCherguia Listen up, you spazoids. We know where you live and we've seen where you sleep. We swear to everything holy that your mothers will cry when they see what we're going to do to you.***
