@RonDeSantis Sometimes I think Sam Alito and Clarence Thomas are the only Supreme Court justices left that don’t make decisions influenced by fear from liberal backlash.

I don’t know what the Supreme Court will decide on the question of birthright citizenship. But I know this, if the courts continue to enforce practices that increase chaos, destruction, and division within the United States, like allowing 1.5 million Chinese nationals to vote because they happened to be born in an American hospital, people will very soon stop respecting the courts. And then things will really get dangerous.

Do the Supreme Court justices really think we fought the Civil War to give birthright citizenship to 1.5 million Chinese birth tourists? If textualism and originalism gets us to that result, that judicial philosophy is an utter fraud.

The 14th Amendment does not empower illegal aliens to give birth in the U.S. to ensure their children automatically become citizens. President Trump is protecting the value and integrity of American citizenship. We cannot allow illegal aliens to exploit the system.

It just feels so painfully obvious that the 14th amendment does not mean that a 9-months pregnant woman from Mexico can cross the Rio Grande illegally, give birth, and be allowed to stay because her child is now a natural born citizen.

We are supposed to be a country based on “We the People,” but that is supposed to be We the American People. Allowing foreigners, who are either violating the law or abusing the law, to birth US citizens — especially in such large numbers — does not square with the idea that we are supposed to be governed by the consent of the people. Congress needs to stop the madness if the Supreme Court fails to do so.
Robert W Malone, MD@RWMaloneMD

9% of of all the babies born in the USA getting citizenship, based on either birth tourism - mostly from the CCP - or whose mother smuggled herself into this country illegally, is not ok and no way to secure a healthy future for Americans. If the Supreme Court doesn't restrict birthright citizenship, then Congress must -BEFORE the midterms. This is what the citizens of the United States want and require.

Congress has passed numerous laws criminalizing, prohibiting, forbidding and barring the entry of unauthorized and inadmissible foreigners. To say that this same class of excluded foreigners — whose very presence here is a crime — when Congress mandated a physical wall to keep them out — have a legal right to birth American Citizens is the gravest and most preposterous of all constitutional abominations.

Ending birthright citizenship for illegal aliens would remove one of the largest drivers of illegal immigration to our country. Without the shiny object of birth tourism, you would see it end almost overnight. Democrats are freaking out about this— because they not only want illegal immigration, but the future of their party depends on illegal immigration.

This is a total reality check for everyone who thinks global laws are the same because they are definitely not. The US 14th Amendment was actually made to help former slaves get citizenship but now it is being used by "birth tourists" from every country including China. You are right that it feels like a one-way street because no other major country gives out citizenships so easily just based on the location of birth and it is high time they look into it for sure

An American citizen’s baby can’t become a Chinese citizen by being born on the soil of China. Can anyone explain why a Chinese citizen’s baby should be able to become an American citizen by being born on the soil here? It’s absolute insanity.

@mrddmia It’s literally in the 14th amendment if you don’t like it it’s in YOU to propose a constitutional amendment and get it passed and ratified. You know you’ll fail at that and that’s why you MAGAs are trying to get the Supreme Court to do your bidding instead but you will lose

Dear Supreme Court Justices: Your job is to follow the law. Even when it’s politically difficult. The law is clear: We The People, as the sovereign citizens, never gave birthright citizenship to illegals. Not in the 14th amendment. Not any statute after. If we change our minds, we will have our elected representatives in Congress change the law for us. Like we did for American Indians. You wear robes, not capes.
