“The only thing more fragile than mRNA is a mans ego” is my new favorite quote of all time

@ZeloBuddy I want to be clear that I agree with personal responsibility/choice and now everyone can make the choice to get vaccinated and if you don’t and get sick that’s on you but 6 months ago we didn’t have the vaccines so I hope you can see how it’s a lil different

@ZeloBuddy Critical thinking my friend. Also need to think about who your decisions are affecting. You can’t spread salmonella if you make the choice to eat a raw egg but it sure is possible you can spread covid if you make the choice not to wear a mask or get vaccinated while positive

@ZeloBuddy I mean I would definitely say there are pretty big differences between eating runny yolk and getting covid so maybe not the best comparison.

@alyssagadd Well I just think the CDC is overly cautious, and rightfully so. And it’s wild how people are takin everything the CDC says into consideration all of a sudden, when they are the same people who say that we should never eat eggs with runny yolk

@Jason_Bunk Not to mention a lot of people who question/are cautious about the vaccine have no problem drinking alcohol, smoking, vaping, doing drugs on a rather regular basis fully knowing the negative long term effects of that.

That being said it's proven that mRNA uses identifying proteins on viruses to trigger our immune responses. So I agree the vaccine works. But why is it so outrageous that some people are cautious / question it? Why are those that support the vac. So obsessed everyone must get it?
Jason bunk@Jason_Bunk

@alyssagadd This coupled with the fact that J&J is already reviewing possible side effects of the vaccine (that weren't seen in studies) + the extreme pressure that pharma manufacturing companies (my job) have to output millions of vials, I feel like people being concerned isn’t outrageous

@Jason_Bunk (Not saying that Google is the best resource but at least it’s a start for the average person without a prior knowledge of science)

@Jason_Bunk I totally understand the hesitancy. And for me I have a lot of prior education and knowledge behind vaccines, cell bio, molecular bio, etc. but there are people who are looking for more data and research who obviously haven’t even scratched the surface with a simple Google search

There is literally 30+ years of data and research on mRNA vaccines and people are really out here saying they “need to see more data and research”
