@_Street_General @NigeriaStories Una go just open mouth waaah. Do you even know or understand what is really happening at all?
Blame it on the government and NNPC who only sell about 30% crude oil to dangote to refine while he import the other 70% at global oil market rate. What do you expect.
English

Aliko Dangote is fundamentally a capitalist whose primary goal is protecting and growing his own business interests, not necessarily serving the masses. Even during his well-publicized battles against the so-called "cabals" in the oil sector, his actions were largely driven by the need to safeguard his massive investments in the refinery rather than a genuine fight for the broader interests of ordinary Nigerians.
His earlier price reductions on petrol weren't altruistic gestures for the people they were strategic business moves. He needed strong market patronage to generate sufficient revenue, meet operational expectations, and repay the huge loans taken to build and sustain the refinery on time.
The government also bears significant responsibility here. If Nigeria had functional, efficient public refineries operating at full capacity, we wouldn't be in this endless cycle of fuel scarcity, high prices, and dependence on private players like Dangote or imports.
In the end, our current democracy has proven even worse than the old days of colonialism or military decrees because under those systems, at least some basic infrastructure (like refineries) was maintained and functional, whereas today, despite all the talk of progress, ordinary citizens continue to suffer from the same or worse economic hardships.
English

@SKaizen101 @NigeriaStories @Ebuka_PN Only when you understand that Dangote is a businessman. What do you expect from a business who import crude oil instead of our government selling to him.
That is the effect of global oil market
English

@NigeriaStories @Ebuka_PN So we celebrated 'Dangote saving Nigeria' only for the man to turn our only refinery into a personal ATM; hiking petrol to ₦1,175 three times in a week while blaming Iran. When exactly do we admit this monopoly is bleeding us dry faster than any foreign importer ever did? 😏

@ProfAkinAbayomi @jidesanwoolu
Please we need your urgent attention as many more patients are facing similar challenges. The doctors and nurses do not care who is being affected. Young, adults, toddlers, or even the old ages. They talk shabbily to anybody anyhow in @ikorodugh
English

To sit down while they gossip and talk about unrelated matters while patients are in pains. This will be my second experience here at @ikorodugh
So many patients are facing similar challenges everyday due to the nonchalant attitude of the doctors and nurses. @ProfAkinAbayomi
English

Dear @jidesanwoolu @ProfAkinAbayomi
I hereby making a formal complaint against the @ikorodugh child and maternal care where the Doctors and Nurses are nonchalant about the care of patients being brought in.
My experience today and previous experience is nothing to <br>

English

@Bond_not_james If not because you’re dumb. There is a reason it’s called Fiber cables. How do you expect fiber cables to be wireless. Some of you just act like illiterates. Blame it on the estate community and engineers who had installed the cables dangling around.
