There are places we pass through in life… and there are places that become part of who we are.
Manchester will forever be my home.
To the city, the club, and every supporter, my sincerest thank you. These past four years have been unforgettable, filled with moments my family and I will carry with us for the rest of our lives. There simply aren’t enough words to describe the happiness and warmth we’ve felt here.
Thank you for every cheer, every memory, and for making us feel at home from the very first day.
Forever a Red Devil ❤️

We’ve got some interesting whispers floating around that Bryan Mbeumo might be available for transfer after just one season at Manchester United.
Apparently Several clubs across England and Europe are keen to sign him this summer.
It’s definitely a story to keep an eye on as the summer transfer window approaches.

English

@indykaila We have really reached a point where we sign players without the manager's approval..??? 😄 You see what's happening to Chelseas... It's coming to haunt us

Michael Carrick has been offered the Manchester United manager job, but he’s still weighing his options.
It turns out there are a few requests from the club that he needs to consider before saying yes.
One big thing is that the transfers will be handled by a separate team, which means Carrick won’t have the final say on player signings.
Plus, there are some clauses in the contract that need to be ironed out which has been requested by the club.

❗️Brentford played United and City away B2B. Think the difference between the games tells a lot about the state of things.
🔺At Old Trafford, Brentford had 54% possession. Jensen and Damsgaard had 170+ passes. Jensen completed 79 of 94.
At the Ethiad, Brentford had 40% possession. Jensen completed 35 of 52 passes.
🔺Watching the games — the cause for the difference on the pitch is clear as day.
City lifted up their back 4, took away space from Brentford in the build-up, and Brentford could not handle it. Brentford even pushed high with 4 players at times, but City still didn’t drop back. Jensen and co are good, not elite. He was in way over his head against City.
Against United, Brentford sent up 1-3 players and United dropped deep with 7 players and Brentford played through our press with such an ease.
🔺But why do Man Utd play which such a deep line? It has nothing to do with the midfield. You cannot press with a deep line. As seen in the picture below, Utd is 7 against 3 in our own half, and Brentford is consequently 7 against 3 in their half. You cannot press with 3 players against 7.
It has everything to do with the lack of pace at CB. This is a problem we have had for a long long time. It does not get the attention it deserves.
🔺I really try to like the idea of Carrick getting the job. Sometimes I am excited about it. But it’s 2026. We have three games left of a season without a knife against our throat. We play Sunderland.
What does Carrick do? The first name put on the the team sheet is Harry Maguire and we play an extremely deep line.
This is what we need to work on. It cannot be up for debate. Why is Lenny Yoro sat on the bench? Why doesn’t we even try to improve here? When we play this deep, the best we can hope on is counter attacks because we will never be able to establish sustained pressure.
🔺Brentford and Sunderland are good. But it will — not — be any different in Europe next season. Well organized teams like Bodo-Glimt, FC Copenhagen, Sparta Prague and the likes will have a field day, just like Brentford, Sunderland and Leeds. People think we will do well in the big group stage of the CL just because we play in the PL.
Most European teams can’t handle the physical nature of PL clubs. That is why Newcastle and Tottenham are top in the CL while bottom in the PL. When we play such a deep line — we get nothing of that.
⚽️My bar is extremely low, for what I would settle for with a new manager. Looking around Europe the last decade, what works is possession focused 4-2-3-1, high line and high counter press. Give me that and I would take it.
Why? We simply cannot waste time building teams in the wrong direction. We have done it since Mourinho, who was past it tactically when we got him.
I cannot be in favor of appointing a manager who clearly favors this ultra deep line counter attack style.

Honest thoughts.
Amad has been off form since Amorim got sacked. Same with Mbeumo. The whole right wing has looked disconnected for months.
And no, I don’t think this is just a player problem. I think it’s a system problem.
Here’s why.
Some players thrive in structure.
Others thrive in chaos.
Amad, Mbeumo and even Zirkzee are system players. That does NOT mean they are bad players. It means they perform best when the team has patterns, chemistry and clear movements.
Look at Amad at Sunderland.
Look at him under Amorim.
Look at Mbeumo at Brentford.
Look at Zirkzee at Bologna and Bayern.
You notice the same thing every time.
They like controlled football.
They like knowing:
— where the next pass is coming from
— who is making the overlap
— who is attacking the half space
— where they should position themselves
— what run the striker will make
That is coaching.
That is structure.
That is patterns of play.
A good coach drills those movements every single week until they become automatic.
Right now United don’t have that consistently.
A lot of the football looks random.
Players receive the ball and have to improvise instead of combining through rehearsed movements.
That affects players like Amad heavily because his game is built on timing, quick combinations, movement and intelligent positioning.
Now compare that to players like Cunha, Mainoo or Mount.
These are chaos players.
Give them a broken game and they still find solutions.
They can carry the ball through pressure.
Create something from nothing.
Escape tight spaces alone.
Force moments individually.
That’s why some players still look decent even when the team structure collapses.
Big difference.
So when people ask me about Amad, I’m not writing him off at all.
I actually think this period could help him long term.
Because football is not always comfortable.
Not every manager gives you structure.
Not every game goes to plan.
Sometimes you have to survive.
Adapt.
Fight through ugly football.
This is Amad’s survival stage.
And if he learns how to perform both in structured systems AND chaotic games, he becomes a much more complete player.
That’s why I would never loan or sell him.
You keep players like that.
You develop them.
You coach them properly.
Because once the structure returns, players like Amad usually explode again.

@WaruiJohn2 Imagine this is there 11th game forcing a 1 nil win... We shouldn't even be complaining about Arsenal but their opponents... Just giving out wins when you had 90+ minutes to turn it around
