@lukei4655 Fr. Ezra Sullivan's Habits and Holiness is probably something along those lines. I haven't read it (read a shorter, more popular book, I'm assuming it's an abridgement), but I think this gets at what you're talking about.

I think that a great contribution to the work of Catholic Moral Theology would be if we had a theologian who was capable of fully incorporating modern neuroscience into the Thomistic moral system. I apply some of it to counseling, but I want a rigorous systemic work.

FC Cincinnati coach Pat Noonan said he hasn't received clarity from MLS on Lionel Messi and Jordi Alba's status for the match this weekend. "I don't necessarily know that we need clarity. There's rules. I'm aware of those. "We're under the impression that we'll prepare for the game without those two available."

@FrHarrison I got one off Amazon, very disappointed with it. Our seminary has a really nice, much more expensive one in the library, and I use that. You're in a university town, right? I'd see if somehow they might let you use one if they have it.

@HoneyTongueMuse @lukei4655 I think though, more seriously, that people miss the community, maybe they miss the intellectual aspect. I doubt many miss the grind of coursework or the obligations of seminary.

@McGillPatterson @am_parra @GregoryCaridi Also average age of ordination would be interesting, I have a gut feeling much like the Episcopal turnover one that we are seeing younger guys getting ordained while when I look at guys ordained 20-25 years ago they seemed older.

It would be a good idea to create a coefficient that incorporates total population and total Catholic population. Some of what we are seeing here is more a factor of one or both of these than anything else.

Curious that OKC's archbishop, Archbishop Coakley, was part of that same KU integrated humanities program as Bishop Conley back in the day. Church really needs to find out more about what was taught at that program.

We know that he went to one WS game and the brother says he was a fan of the hometown team growing up. People have spun that into 3/4s of the pope’s personality.
