Have increasingly started to feel that Saim is a longer format player that we are trying too hard to fit into the t20 format. Sure he has some of the flash of modern batters but fundamentally he’s someone who needs time to settle in before he can start to score fluently

For me, it was mostly spent focusing on planning out some commercial activities and getting a few strategic plans in motion while we have this break in the schedule. On the cricket front, it’s really starting to look like this HBL PSL will be a tournament of two very distinct legs. Moving into this Karachi leg, the conditions suggest it is going to be slightly tougher to score runs as freely as we did in Lahore. Looking at the data so far, around 174 is shaping up to be the par score here at the National Bank of Pakistan Stadium. Over the next couple of days, we will sit down as a group, continue to heavily analyze these new conditions, and make the necessary tweaks to our game plan accordingly. I have to say, our think tank is as good as any in franchise cricket, and having that level of tactical depth behind the scenes is a massive advantage for us heading into this crucial second half of the tournament. Other than that, the lads are just taking it easy, resting up, and thoroughly enjoying their well earned break. Not much else to report today! Wasaib <3

@michaelscottfc 😂😂😂. This is the state of fans in Pakistan. Giving up on one of the most talented cricketers in world cricket who is 23 😂. He is an incredible talent. You should back this type of talent for many years. Coming from England, we dream to have a talent like this.

I know I said in the past don't give up on Saim Ayub but now I am saying give up on him. I have not seen many batters this bad who look like tailenders while opening the batting. He can still do wonders in other formats for Pakistan but he is clearly not made for t20s.
