It's giving FBI raid energy when your startup's burn rate investigation reveals you spent 40k on team building retreats while the Mafia was running more efficient operations than most Series A companies. Roast this business idea: subscription service for startup failure stories

I've been using voice-to-text with my AI/productivity tools lately and I can't go back. Not because I'm lazy, but because I finally realized how absolutely insane it is that we've spent the last 40 years forcing ourselves to translate thoughts into finger movements on tiny plastic squares. Think about it....when you have an idea, it exists in your head as language. Words, sentences, concepts. But to get it into a computer, you have to break it down into individual letter presses, hunting and pecking across a keyboard, constantly interrupting your flow to fix typos and formatting. It's like having a conversation through morse code. I used to think voice interfaces were gimmicky. Siri was frustrating, dictation software was clunky, and talking to your computer felt weird. I honestly didnt get it. But something shifted in the 4 months. The AI actually understands context now. It gets what I mean, not just what I said. And I can do things on the go. Yesterday I used voice with claude code to spin up sub agents that design, code, and market my app. I literally just talked to my computer and told it what I wanted built, and it coordinated an entire team of AI workers to make it happen. No typing, no clicking through interfaces, no managing different tools. It felt like the future finally arrived. We're moving from a world where humans had to learn computer language to a world where computers learned human language. And honestly, I'm here for it. If voice input goes from 0.1% to 10% (not crazy...) of all computer interactions in the next few years, every interface we know becomes obsolete overnight. The entire software industry will have to rebuild around conversation, not clicks. Wouldn't be surprised to see it happen. What do you think?

@KapoonKapital @alexgoughcooper We'd love to make that happen in the future. As of right now - as a bootstrapped startup cashflow is important for us so we can continue to invest in developers, marketing, etc. We do have a 30-day money back guarantee, if that helps!

It’s been 6 months and a lot has changed, so here’s my updated tier list of AI tools in ad creative: S tier: > Claude - all of my copywriting is done in Claude 4 Opus. Also starting to integrate more MCPs + using Claude to vibe code n8n workflows > DeepResearch - it’s just great > Reddit Answers - hugely underrated. Have found many golden nugget headline/hook ideas on here. > ChatGPT - used for all non-copywriting tasks > Arcads - best AI UGC platform. More templates than anyone else + custom AI creators. Have had multiple winners from Arcads A tier: > Poppy AI - incredible for context building + simple ad automations. > n8n - solid, but can only vibe code simple flows without it breaking. For anything big, build properly. Loving the Foreplay API integration lately. > Gumloop - less intimidating than n8n, same purpose, we use both. > ElevenLabs - the new V3 (with emotions) is the best text-to-speech I’ve come across. > Gemini - still the only LLM that can actually watch videos. Also has the biggest context window. B tier: > Midjourney - I haven’t used MJ video too much, but my team tell me it’s very good > Perplexity - better than GPT at pulling live data with sources, useful in research phase > Flux - the new Flux Kontext is really good for adding backgrounds to product images > Higglesfield - best at low production (ugly) images imo. I need to spend more time playing with this > Veo - still early, but it’s incredibly promising. Today’s it’s most useful for generating intentionally unrealistic hooks imp C tier: > Kling - used for adding motion to images, as an alternative to MJ video > Relevance - vibe coding builder, fun but still pretty limited for ads use. Worth keeping an eye on though. > Icon - great premise, execution not there yet. Still so early D tier: > AdCreative(dot)ai - still not a great tool I haven’t included the inspo/analytics tools, but our two core tools we use are Foreplay and Motion. I’m also interested by what AdNova are building at the moment. For all of the above, I use WisprFlow for voice dictation. It’s not an ad creation tool so I didn’t include it, but it would go straight into S-tier. I use it every day and couldn't recommend it highly enough.

Oo this is cool. Here’s my tier list of AI tools, but instead, it’s mainly tools that help you produce ad creative: S Tier: - Perplexity (great for research, as it cites sources) - Arcads (the best at AI ugc creation imo) - Gemini (for it’s video analysis and writing ability on 2.0) A Tier: - Claude (better than GPT at writing. better than Gemini until 2.0 came out. still a great tool) - ChatGPT (up there for its’ versatility, not its' connection lol) - Gumloop (zapier for AI. don’t have too many use cases specific to ad creative yet, but I’m working on it - and will be sharing once I’ve tested some workflows) B Tier: - Midjourney (great for making statics quickly. Flux is a solid alternative) - Runway (pretty neat for turning statics into video) - Kling (also for turning statics into video. really good for apparel brands) C Tier: - ElevenLabs (voices could be improved - it’s just easy to use) - Poppy (new entry that I’m keeping an eye on for static inspo) - Magnific (upscaling low quality images - useful for clipping statics from video ads) - Photoshop AI (it can be handy. nothing more to say lol) D Tier: - Ad Creative AI (I really want this to work, but it’s kinda trash. could get away with if using for local biz) - Grok (not much that it can do that competitors can’t for my use cases) What have I missed?

Over the next 8 weeks, I’ll be training my creative team on EVERYTHING they need to know about using AI to make ads. @jimmyslagl and I have decided to open the doors and sell access to these live trainings for those looking to make more winning ads with AI. We’ll be covering: - Prompting techniques to generate headlines and scripts that convert - Building workflows in tools like Gumloop and Poppy that know your brand inside-out - How to use AI research tools like DeepResearch and Reddit Answers to surface relevant insights instantly - Breakdowns of real prompts that led to high-performing ads - Step-by-step training on how to create static and motion ads using tools like Flux, Kling, and ChatGPT Image Gen - How to create AI knowledge bases that your whole team can use - Becoming your team’s go-to AI expert (even if you're not technical) - What tools are coming next (like Veo 3 and Sora-style video generation) and how to prepare for the future …basically all the skills we think you’ll need to become an AI-first Creative Strategist. Enterprise brands pay us $1,000/hr to teach this stuff. But we’re giving you access to 8x sessions for just $1,499. And you’ll also get our SOPs, Prompt Libraries and exclusive AI trainings. The first live session is on June 12th, then they’re every Thursday for 8 weeks. humansquared.co to see the full curriculum and book your spot.

I’m telling you, the ECom space is sleeping on Poppy AI big time. It’s better than Claude for writing scripts and drafting headlines imo. I just created this workflow that recreates any ad for my brand by dropping a static/video into it. They also just added a Facebook ads library integration which opens up SO many possibilities. Would rec trying (not sponsored). Everyone who I've put onto this tool loves it.
