@JasonHarmon2@MooseOnAir He cant because he only hits one type of shot.. his entire philosphy is to "hit the same shot every time"
This is why he excels on long narrow us open style setups but ANGC requires too much creativity for him
I'm not sure Bryson ever figures out ANGC until he makes some compromises in his set up. Single length wedges and four clubs in your bag you hit shorter than 200 yards at a place that demands second shot and scrambling ... idk man.
@rickjeff78@amace09@AhoyMcavoy73@NickGabrione@LouStagner You can’t call me retarded and then use the wrong form of your/you’re.
The only points you’ve tried to make is “Rick shiels says….” And “you’re retarded”
Any course where a +8 (tour pro) can go out and shoot mid 80s on is fair game for an 18 to shoot in the 150s. I’m sorry.
@BAYCBoshi@bigcontentguy@PFTCommenter Great.
150 means averaging 8.33 per hole.
I have no doubt they'll have some 8s and 9s. It won't be an average.
You act as if an 18 is functionally incapable of putting it into a 20' circle.
99% of 18s will fare better than 150 by a good 20 strokes. With ease
He will once or twice. But then he will be putting up 8's or 9's frequently.
You realize the best players in the world triple bogey these holes.
The punishment for mistakes isn't just tap it in. You can literally putt it into the water on several holes.
3 Putt on every hole avg might have been too generous.
@BAYCBoshi@bigcontentguy@PFTCommenter So in other words, you have no idea what you're Talking about.
You're saying he can't get onto a 240y par 3 green in 4 strokes?
@amace09@bigcontentguy@PFTCommenter Yeah, he's not getting par +1 to get on the green. The 240 yd par 3... The 440-495 yard par 4's and the 585 yard par 5 lol.
@bigcontentguy@PFTCommenter This. 0% chance he would shoot under 109. 130-140 with his perfect round being a 115. The course is sooo long and so tough. He would Average a 3 putt.
🗣️ ONE OF US! 🌺 — 86-year old Jack Nicklaus had a quick hook of the first tee this morning with his breakfast ball.
The Masters is officially underway 🫡
@rickjeff78@KenDonnelly_@AhoyMcavoy73@NickGabrione@LouStagner I would agree.
Scores balloon for inconsistent amateurs because of penalty shots. Not much water at Augusta, the rough is not tough and the trees are very open. Limit bleeding around the greens and you're good to go
@KenDonnelly_@rickjeff78@AhoyMcavoy73@NickGabrione@LouStagner I didn't say GIR. I said GIR + 2.
So 3 strokes to get on every single par 3 on average
4 strokes to get on every par 4
A 10 cap is going to hit at least a couple greens, or at least be near them.
Augusta doesnt have many penalty areas like other courses
@amace09@rickjeff78@AhoyMcavoy73@NickGabrione@LouStagner I wouldn’t foresee my 18 handicap friends hitting too many GIR from 7500+. Also wouldn’t be too confident in them 3 putting on one of the most difficult greens on tour.
Like I said they could definitely break it but I wouldn’t fancy it
@rickjeff78@amace09@AhoyMcavoy73@NickGabrione@LouStagner I mean you watch every tour player miss 3-4 footers consistently at Augusta. Many players have said if you don’t know where to hit it there’s chances an amateur golfer would putt the ball off the green. I’d tend to believe them over some angry fella cursing on twitter. 🤷🏿♂️
@KenDonnelly_@rickjeff78@AhoyMcavoy73@NickGabrione@LouStagner So assume from 7500 yards every hole the player got on the green in GIR + 2 (ie. Par 5 took 5 to get on).
Then assume they 4 putt every hole on average.
That's only 144.
It would take a catastrophically bad day for any 18 cap to fire 150.
@rickjeff78@AhoyMcavoy73@amace09@NickGabrione@LouStagner I’d agree if this was a standard course. But Augusta National, in tournament conditions, from the back tees? Absolutely not.
Playing from 7500 yards alone would be a massive challenge. Add in the rest and it’d be a disaster
@rickjeff78@NickGabrione@LouStagner Most 18 handicaps can’t break 100 on a local muni. Safe to say playing one of the most difficult courses on tour they wouldn’t break 150
