Apprentice Shannen Llewellyn was dislodged after her mount stumbled coming out of the barriers at the start of race 3 at Gosford today. She has been assessed by ambulance officers and cleared of any injury however, due to the potential impact to her head, she has been stood down from her remaining engagements and will continue to be monitored for the next hour or so.

Sincere condolences go out to the family and friends of Muswellbrook trainer Pat Farrell who passed away over the weekend. Pat was an inductee into the Newcastle & Hunter Racing Hall of Fame in 2021 being a successful trainer for more than 60 years.

Today we sadly said goodbye to our much-loved Tyreek 💔 The small but courageous horse had a big heart and was greatly adored by everyone at the stables. Unfortunately, after a fall at Rosehill he had to be put to rest. Our deepest condolences go out to his owners and all those connected with him. We also wish Dylan Gibbons a speedy and full recovery 🙏

Really sad news just reported on Trackside, with the passing of Te Awamutu trainer Robert Priscott. The son of Il Tempo's trainer Bruce Priscott, Robert had Group One success himself through Cordero, Buzz Lightyear, Winged Foot and Hill Of Grace. A friend to many in racing.
