@GoodOldNakk @JensensLaw In my DnD setting, these are all the same creature! A Kobold starts its life as basically a bipedal gator, not even sentient yet. If it eats well and lives a few years, the Kobold becomes a Lizardfolk. If the Lizardfolk manages to eat any magic items, they become a Dragonborn.

@Stella_Hoshii I frequently use AI references but every time I commission anything, I make sure to tell the artist "your eye and your judgement are what I'm paying for, if you think this would be better a different way then please go for it!"

I don’t mind when my clients use AI images as references, because even if not, I usually ask them to provide me with a simple stick-figure sketch anyway. I don’t even mind when they ask me to copy designs from AI images exactly，the only thing that bothers me is that it makes me work feel boring. Even when I’m working on commission art, I like to try to make art little more interesting.

There are several layers to this, but the most important one to understand is that modern women cannot be broken of the belief that they’re “doing everything.” Because having real domestic servants beyond cleaning ladies is too expensive/weirdly taboo, and most of them insist on “working,” they end up spending decent time most days on menial household chores. While they’re doing this, they slowly start seething with rage about having to do it. Their minds search frantically for a target to place this rage. This is why you must be out of sight. The entire reason men slowly start making the garage their hangout is because if you’re in the garage, her cute little woman brain equates this with you also working, even if you’re not. As others have mentioned, the office would fix this as well. If you’re “at work” and that exists not at home, her brain gets to complete the loop “he is working.” Like it or not, you can’t just sit down and watch a baseball game while she’s buzzing around doing dishes or cleaning the floors. You have to be out of her line of sight. Get a TV in the garage. My Dad took like 3 years to build our deck and I suspect he took his sweet ass time because it fulfilled this purpose so well. “I’ll be out working on the deck.” Then she just had to see him driving a couple screws back there and he could spend 3-4 hours smoking cigs, having a couple drinks in the garage. I know a bunch of incels will come in saying your wife should be a silent slave or whatever, but this is the real world.

@sakebu_cheese_ Canada is like a weird sibling. Yeah we love them, and we may tease or ridicule them, but NOBODY else gets to mess with them or we will immediately be on their defense.

Calling artist a coward because they drew a furry giraffe with not long enough neck is wild. Any harsh criticism is wild. I'm going to simply ban people who insult me, without engaging in dialogue and trying to explain my point artistic vision. I'm a polite person, I want to be kind to everyone and I'm fine with anyone sharing their opinion about my drawings as long as it's done in a friendly manner. I don't want to respond to rudeness. I'm a sensitive and anxious person and I simply want to protect myself from negativity.

@tuuu28283 Compared to Japan, no they are absolutely not clean at all. But there is also a lot of variation depending on where you go - my advice if you're traveling is to check before hand. "I need to wash my hands" is a polite way to go use the bathroom and see what condition it's in.
