I am honored to have the support of my colleagues to be the first woman to serve as President Pro Tempore of the U.S Senate. I care deeply about the work we do here in the Senate and the good I am able to accomplish for families in Washington state and across the country.

BREAKING: @dellavolpe calculates that the record-breaking turnout among voters between 18-29-years-old canceled out *every voter* above the age of 65. Gen Z literally saved democracy. And going forward, there is no path to victory for Democrats without young voters. Full stop.

As we have known for months – we are in a tight race! We are currently trailing the three-term incumbent by just 542 votes with several thousand more ballots expected to be counted by 5pm on Friday. We will continue to watch returns and keep you informed of developments.

Head’s up! I’m sure most of us got our ballots in early but if you hesitated, be ready for a party across the street. If you are turning your ballots in tomorrow, remember to look for any signs/stickers or signs of folks trying to intimidate voters.

Hey Twitter employees getting laid off tomorrow! IMPORTANT INFO from a CA employment attorney (me): CA's "WARN" law requires Twitter to give you 60 days notice of a massive layoff. A layoff of 50+ employees within a 30 day period qualifies. I know you didn't get that notice.
