this is the future of saas: one backend with two front doors. one for humans. one for their agents. same building. your users click buttons. their agents call your api. both do the same things. why: 1. agents are the new power users. people are already wiring claude code, codex, and openclaw into their workflows. if your product doesn't have an api, you're invisible to them. 2. no drift. one canonical api layer means one source of truth. ui and api never diverge. you must support agent to support human. 3. skills is the new distribution. when your api works with any agent, agents find their way in themselves. your product becomes a tool for their agent, not a tab a human have to visit. build for both from the start.

Just shipped something I'm excited about: DataDive now talks to AI agents. Built an adapter that wraps DataDive's API into a universal format any bot can consume. Two ways to use it: 1. MCP Server (Claude, ChatGPT, etc.) 2. OpenClaw Skill The key: Instead of building separate integrations for every AI platform, I built one adapter that speaks a universal schema. With the build out of skillcrate , I am hoping that everyone in the Amazon space touting look at this thing I built or you should do with with MCP will collectively share it open sourced. I had my bot look through GitHub and my initiation is correct there is nobody doing it. I hope this changes soon. On LinkedIn I comment on most of the post asking for them to share there skills / Mcp with the community.

@ShinghiD I had some great talks with some people at our openclaw meetup last night at the Wynn about this. It’s true, my general consensus is those like myself like to tinker will do so and those who don’t have the time will stay with SaaS. Lot more into this bit thats the high level

Now that many have the ability to create their own software, they can easily look at a SaaS provider and say, "How much of my time, energy, and compute power would it cost to build the same thing?" The answer is that SaaS is usually a freaking great deal.

@ReezyResells That’s gnarly. Yeah totally possible to do yourself. I’m currently in the works for a few brands with ads then will move to Spi. But api will be the north star and I think Amazon will start making money off it.
