Drove 8 hours and got about 45 min from where I’m going to stay, for the @Airbnb host to message and say she sold the property months ago and it’s not active. I got 3 reminder emails and a message the day before confirming my arrival time. I’m sure she did too…

@DeadSeriousfrfr @OaksAndSpokes Is there signage? Looks like new lane with signage lacking meaning it takes a few weeks for cars to respond. Nothing new with new bike lane. Agree sooner warnings or tickets issued the better.

@Chipping_Spar @OaksAndSpokes People in cars are peak entitlement. Delivery truck should park in the car lane temporarily because it doesn’t endanger the life of the driver if they need to change lanes to go around.

@OaksAndSpokes Bitching about a delivery truck being parked on the side to unload is peak entitlement. It’s either there or in the car lane and, quite frankly, the bike lane and curb are substantially less used.

Why was the last @duolingo update to Japanese so horrible? Considering cancelling this whole family plan bc it shot me 23 unites ahead and I haven’t learned any of the vocab or structure that it says I have 😭😭

Imagine how many unique shops would open across the country if we broadly legalized smaller retail spaces? Minimum square footage and lot size requirements stop entrepreneurs who can’t afford larger retail spaces from starting new businesses. They deserve the freedom of choice.

@Jane4Raleigh @schmangee It’s doable *depending where you live*. My business partner/roommate and I share one car. I mostly ride my bike and he tries to walk/scoot but that is very limiting on where we can live. If our landlord ever sells, idk what we would do. (his dog walks into our biz with him too)
