Ambiorix Web

Unopinionated, minimalist web framework for R. Inspired by express.js

@antoine_fabri @RandVegan Yes, when using shiny I was thinking in terms of what is possible in shiny, but using JS just lets me do anything you can think of. For DB connection and other backend stuff I use node.js and try to keep it as lightweight as possible.

in chapter 3 of hypermedia systems (great book, btw), the authors talk about a simple contact management web app, with basic CRUD functionality. found it worth to implement a variation of that using ambiorix. you gotta love that pagination + filtering! github.com/ambiorix-web/a…

For our 2nd project under #shinymeetings, we are making an app to explore and watch Posit Conf talks: github.com/shiny-meetings… This is what we got after brainstorming wireframing. And there may be an {ambiorix} equivalent too! Join us if you'd like to work on this app. #rstats
