🌟 New cover for @NatureMaterials! Carbon Nanotubes Revolutionize Hydrodynamic Concepts⚛️🌊 The cover represents water and proton transport in tiny metallic carbon nanotube pores. While traditional hydrodynamics assumes walls are just boundaries, but @Noy_group made a game-changing discovery: the electronic properties of carbon nanotube porins (CNTPs) significantly affect water permeability! They compared transport in metallic and semiconducting nanotubes of identical diameter and noticed a consistent enhancement in metallic nanotubes.
